No they can’t
It reads videos with a homebrew software called Moonshell, which support .dpg videos only.
In terms of software used to convert videos to .dpgs, I know BatchDPG and DPG Tools. But it’s rather complicated, so if it’s too much of a hassle and isn’t useful to anyone but me, no problem.

The conversion took me 2 minutes… Two minutes of conversion per movie isn’t so bad (dual core recent CPUs make an impressive work, I’d almost be glad my fooking mobo died on me last month forcing me to re-buy all my shit, grrrr), so I think I’ll share dpg stuff the next time too, Axe
If my settings are cool I’ll keep them, they’re the default ones and I prefer it that way rather than risking to mess up the whole thing :/

So I’ve finally managed to test the video on my DS (sorry for the wait, I have problems transfering files to my MicroSD), and it looks sleek !
I don’t know how you did it and how much time it took, but it was very well done. Here are the settings I used to have when I had BatchDPG (now I can’t get it to work) :
Video :
FPS: 20
Width: 256
Heigth: 192
Bitrate: 256
Profile: High
Audio :
Bitrate: 224
Samplerate: 32000
Normalize: ON
Though I’m not sure they are the best of the best, they did work pretty well. Anyway, the only way to achieve the best encoding is to try various settings and it changes for everyone, and the video you uploaded earlier was very neat, so if you don’t want, you don’t have to care about what I just wrote
