As an old geezer (imagine, I’m 30 since the 12th of may), I’ve wasted hundreds of hours playing Super Mario, that was a terrific pleasure in the old days. I found this hilarious video about a special stage, fuckingly difficult, and I don’t even manage to understand how I managed to finish the game without an emulator and its ten save slots with instant unlimited saves

That reminded me lovingly the old days, and once again : HOW THE FUCK DID WE MANAGE TO PLAY GAMES SO HARD, AND FINISH THEM ??

Is this a modified version of Super Mario World? I dont recall the special area being this difficult. I seem to remember that the second level consists of using air balloons to get through.

I’ve beaten that level, it’s only in the japanese game, and it wasn’t that hard IF you know what to do, and no I didn’t use rewinds, but you HAVE to know exactly where everything is and how to get passed it

That was great. I tried not to make a sound since my family’s sleeping, but I just couldn’t stop laughing at the part where all that player could do was fall onto one of two deaths. Brings back memories of pressing Save at the wrong time on those emulators. Thanks for posting it!

btw this is kaizo, some custom/hacked ROM version of the game, not the normal super mario
Its made to be super difficult lol
(I looked it up because I don’t remember ever playing a stage that difficult from 15 years ago…)

Yeah, that’s not the original Level (at least not in the European or US Version, I played both and I know every level nearly by heart). The original Level was tough alredy, but this ones insane

For more information, I found that this isn’t the real Super Mario but a ROM hacked to be especially difficult and impossible unless you use an emulator, Super Kaizo World.
