i was looking through wikipedia to see if tere was any info on the very confusing plot and found out that shining musume is actually a taken from morning musume (as opposed to country musume as is generally believed) a real group whose members have extremely similar if not the same names as the ones in okina’s shining musume. A lot of the features in the story regarding the coming and going of characters are analogous to events in real life as if it were a secret record of behind the scenes events. I just thought it was slightly curious and outrageous and that i wanted to share it with somebody. x
