Oh boy. Silky Whip, Re-scanned, in high resolution, by the extremely talented hentai and non-hentai artist Oh Great (also known as Itoh Togure) is it really certain I’m not dead and arrived in heaven ? Please, do NOT tell me you don’t know this artist, Oh Great! is behind the successful Tenjoh Tenge and Air Gear mangas, a very artistic non-hentai manga. More generally, whenever he draws hentai stuff or not, the gals in his works always have wonderful tits, playful characters, huge sexual frenzies, and every few pages there are incredibly good art pages… I can’t get bored of that artist, seeing his work by him in high-rez is a feast 
In Silky Whip, there is also a very surprising and unusual rewrite of Peter Pan’s story (OMG, Wendy being a futa 
), quite worth reading too… Happy reading guys

You guys may notice I have megarotic in the mirrors ? That host has been pissing me for quite a while, failing to upload tons of stuff, and when I tested yesterday, it successfully uploaded a 65 ko/s a whopping 131 MB file ¬_¬ This is SO logical that I’m starting to hate megarotic even because it is working ¬_¬

Oh Great! is also behind Air Gear, another hilarious and excellent manga that is enjoying a huge wave of success. He’s an excellent artist and writer. Very rare type of artist.

Air Gear is shit, as Tenjou Tenge and Himiko-den. It’s just… well-drawn… Nothing hilarious, just a basic shônen with a story that goes nowhere. And I’m not talking about the anime that is… well, read it if you want.

Air Gear is fucking awesome. What other Manga gives you a shot of the main character taking a shit in front of his friends? It has such non-standard characters that saying they’re crappy entitles you to death by ruptured bowel.
Really, the characters also feel like real teenagers. They curse, they whine, they make stupid expressions and show off. They feel real. And I don’t even like Manga involving sports or related activities.

Lol, guys, this isn’t a poll about Air Gear ^^
I personally liked it a lot until I realized around volume #10 that it was going nowhere, Itoh Togure simply making the cash-machine work as long as possible. After this, I simply downloaded the volumes for the great hentai or ecchi pictures, and for the occasional laughter when there were good funny drawings that didn’t need a translation.
As for Tenjoh Tenge, until the WTF-ish story taking place centuries ago, it was quite good, never losing hang of the global scenario, quite a record
I didn’t leech new volumes until the end of the “centuries ago arc”, so I can’t tell how it evolved, but this is a solid shonen scenario.

Well, the story is poised for a conclusion now. Sora takes the stage as the villain and now it’s Genesis versus Sleeping Forest with Ikki and the guys in the middle against both. If that’s not promissing, nothing is. I agree that early on with the parts war shit that it felt like generic sports crap but now it’s like everything is upside down and that is good. It got a lot better.
Plus, the humour is still there. Ikki dressing up as an orgiastic cult leader to beat up Kazu and make him realize that he’s gone off the deep end all is some of the funniest shit you’ll see.

Muhaha (désolé Olivier, je continue un chtit peu la conversation… Tant qu’on s’insulte pas, ça va ? :D)
A main character taking a shit in front of his friends ? Noritaka, for instance (there are certainly a lot more, japanese sense of humor often being at that level). But, at least, Noritaka is a comic manga, even though it really sucks. Ogure Itô just tries to make a shônen following mangas that have success, by putting sex, sport, charismatic characters… By the way, yes, those characters are charismatics, but it’s the same as Get Backers : good characters but very poor story (you can find some similarities between those two casts).
It’s well-drawn, although it’s often a mess with the arrangement of the cases. And the story going nowhere, as Olivier said, is really making you regret to have spent time reading it (even more if you’ve bought it).

I missed it when he left the hentai doujin world, and thought he was good at writing good work… The main thing I love about Ito is his high extremes whether it be on one side of the spectrum or the other. This of course is his main weakness in his Anime, tenjo tenge had everyone loosing either an eye or a leg, and Air gear was corny since I first saw it was a complete rip off of Jet Grind Radio with martial arts.
I give the guy credit for trying, but hes better as a hentai artist, since he tries to put almost mearly hentai scenes in his anime (see tenjo tenge). Besides all that I love this manga, not one of top 10 but its a classic.

Just a interesting bit of information, Oh Great! is a group of 5 artists (like CLAMP). Found that out when i picked up an art book by one of them in japan. It had OH GREAT! and below that a name I didnt reconise (Cant remember the name off the top of my head) so i asked a friens and he informed me. Also, I think that they may be 5 women. There were 5 mugshots of women in the back and some info next to them. But since i cant speak japanese, i have no clue what it said.

Had the manga before , but the crappy quality made me not that in a hurry to read it , but this version is realy welcome , thx a lot and keep em coming
