With many, many thanks to Bubbadg who made an awesome work entirely re-scanning the tank version of this manga, and re-editing it himself with the dialogues, I really hope you guys will appreciate this second volume of Take On Me 
Take On Me is one of the great marvels of the hentai scene, with amazing drawings, superbly hardcore, with characters shining with a strong personality, and with a me-mo-ra-ble ending as I have almost never seen one o_O Trust me on this one, try reading the manga 8-)
History note : at first, the manga was scanlated from magazine versions, with crappy picture quality, annoying between-chapter teasers and picture watermarks. The quality was average for the volume 1, crappy for the volume 2. Then the High Quality version of the volume 1 was released, and yesterday, the High Quality version of the volume 2 was finally released too (with high picture quality, less censorship, no watermarks), thanks to Bubbadg

One of the good points, when a manga contains 309 pictures, is that you can write the first tier of the manga is boring without compromising the overall quality of the work 
More precisely, the first tier of the manga isn’t related to the main chars, contains ugly loli, bleh. But the second tier is OK, and the ending, the ending… This ending is jut AWESOME >_< The two main chars naked, on the school’s rooftop, with cloudy weather and gusts of wind, pure love and passion mixed, for an all-nighter sex session… I think I’ll never forget that ending
If you’re new to Take On Me, then you should start with the volume 1. Let’s ignore the low quality magazine version, the volume 1 was published in the US in an official paperback version, under the “Domin8 Me” name. It contained high rez pictures, it was decensored, the only downside was an, erm, hazardous translation.

Nicely done ! this means i can do some spring cleaning on my Hentai archive, deleting the old and shitty version of vol.2 (and some old individual shares) and replace it with this one. Kudos to Buddadg and Oliver.
I have the first book in both digital form and physical form, and i saw the difference. Thank god for your shares.

Damn, it’s nice to re-read it in high rez… Definitely one of the best hentai ever.
By the way, there are two other works of him out there : the first one is called “Guns and roses for Natalie”, the other one is called “Postgirl”. I managed to find the raws. Wouldn’t it be great if someone (kof kof >_<') translated them ?

Icarus didn’t publish “Domin-8 Me!”, Eros did, and Eros hasn’t published anything in over 2 years. While their translations may be a little more liberal than Icarus’, the care they take in publishing the books themselves, particularily with the few tankoubon style ones they’ve done, is much better.

No, Eros actually said it had nothing to do with potential lawsuits from a-ha, they just didn’t think “Take On Me” sounded enough like a porn title, which, if you’re familiar with their older localizations, that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Mashumaro Jyuubaori’s “Alice” became “Alice in Sexland.” Suehirogari’s “Exhibition” and “Heartache” were combined and chopped up to become “Sexhibition.” Oh! Great’s “Engine Room,” “Five,” and “Junk Story,” became “Silky Whip” and “Silky Whip Extreme.” “Punky Knight” became “Spunky Knight” and the subtitles on the later volumes were changed from “Pinky Phaia” and “Bouncing Phaia” to “eXtreme” and “XXX.” “Isane: Hound” became “Sex Warrior Isane” and so on and so forth… And really, that’s only a few of the ones _I’VE_ scanned. It’s probably quicker to count the ones where they DIDN’T mess with the titles.
All that aside, I imagine if they ever did publish the second volume (which seems very unlikely at this point), that whole bit at the end of the second last chapter where they’re reciting lyrics to “Take On Me,” I’m pretty sure they’d still mangle that just to be on the safe side.

The first chapter in this volume is probably the most blatantly loli work I’ve seen on Hentairules. Must speak for the rest of the book or series that ol’ Oli put it up.
The first volume was really good after the start, but I wasn’t as hooked by this one. I didn’t really appreciate the trap aspect and never got around to finishing it. You’ve gotten me curious about the ending though so maybe now’s the time…
