Just a remark, about Bakemonogatari (since this is a Bakemonogatari doujin)… have you watched the anime ? Does it make any sense ? I wonder.
I’ll tell you why I’m wondering. The presence of a stapler on the cover made me curious. So I read thoroughly the Wikipedia entry for this anime… and here’s what I read :
(…) As he is leaving, Hitagi confronts him, as she threatens him she explains that a crab took her weight. When he agrees to keep quiet about her secret, she staples the inside of his mouth and proceeds to leave. Koyomi follows her and tells her that he may be able to help, to stop Hitagi attacking him he shows her that the wound in his mouth, inflicted a few minutes previous, had already healed (…)

While we are talking about bakemonogatari, does any one now when Shaft is planning to release the rest of the episodes? The have not even finished the current arc…
Bakemonogatari is about legends and myths from all around the world and specially from Japan.
Koyomi got bitten by a vampire and turned back thanks to a guy that’s senn in the anime but some vampire abilities still remains, like super vision and fast healing.

No it's not but the Koyomi for you. The guy was flung around by is intetestines(!!!) while trying to help Hitagi underclassman and everyone was OK with it. Don't fret about it. That anime/manga/series of short novels is peculiar. ^^
Lol. Oliver, it is Hitagi’s method of threatening someone. The artist of the original light novel drew each character based on their “animal”. Hitagi had her weight stolen by a crab right? so the stapler resembles her “pincers”. another psychological factor is that she purposely did this to show that she is not afraid to resort to violence (ie, her threat is serious, not all bark no bite)
In a sane manner of explanation, she met a god who helped in a way she didn’t want. After Koyomi finds out he decides to help her despite the fact that she threatened him with a stapler (good thing he can heal).
Insane answer, let’s not even go there. Just watch it.
Basically Koyomi finds out Hitagi’s secret so she grabs his tounge with a stapler and says if you ever tell anyone, no one will ever find your body (in much more verbose language). Then she staples him to prove she’s serious

at long last thisa post makes my day ben so long wit out any new tony taka new work. definitly my favorite artist. <3 i am eger to see the next
in the grand scheme of the anime series the whole “unlimited school supplies” angle plays a small part at the beginning and is totally ignored after the first arc. Bakemonogatari is a great series, in the same vein as Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, though slighly less hardcore in respect to references and trying to read kanji in 1/10 of a second. The character development is stronger and despite a healthy dose of supernatural storyline, the dialogue is rich and enjoyable.
I appreciate the share since I have a secret anime crush on Senjougahara.
Lol @fefifofum. who isn’t? haven’t you noticed how in animes, the girls are generally unique in their own way, never like real-life people? yah. sucks doesn’t it? lol. don’t we all wish to be in anime/manga/hentai world…then again reality’s not too bad…just slow in getting what we want…XD
The new episodes are taking for ever even though SHAFT definitely made a huge profit on the Blu-Ray discs.
I must admit: What I wouldn't give to fuck Senjougahara Hitagi.
