(3 votes, average: 3.00 out of 5) Loading ...I first posted it as a simple tweet, but the replies I received were far from reassuring me.
So, I’m making a post on the blog itself 
(Yeah, consider yourself lucky I don’t post all my crappy links and stuff on Hentairules, there’s twitter for that 
)
I passed The Inner Geek Test, and obtained a scary total of 29.16%.
So far, everyone to whom I asked obtained a smaller score.
What about you, will you obtain even worse, or not – honestly ? 
Useful Information :
To find more works about a subject ("Dragon Ball" for instance), use the search field in the upper-right corner of the page. When I share enough works by a good artist I create redirection pages with links to all his shared works.
A problem to play videos, or questions like "how to download the zips" or "why does it ask a password, you said there isn't one" ? Read the Help & information page :)

I got a 24.4%. I think the problem is that my geekdom is rather focused on a few things I am *really* geeky about, rather than me just being an all-around nerd. I remember very little from math, science, etc classes, I have never read or watched Harry Potter, I know just enough about computer programming to make the problem worse, and I don't go to anime/comic/gaming conventions. But I have 2 entire bookshelves full of RPG's, I own enough boardgames that I could play a different game every night for a month with my friends, I probably own over a hundred video games, and I own "The Nitpicker's Guide to…" books for almost all the versions of Star Trek. :-)

Is the point to get higher or lower is the real question? I mean too high means we're horribly social inept (possibly) psychopaths, but lower just means we're probably more focused in our geekery than this test wants us to be, whether that be more focused in a general area or more focused outside of US geekdom. There's also the fact that some of these things, people of certain age groups just don't have a shot at doing(marriage, correcting supervisor, etc.).
I'm sure plenty of people lost a ton of % from the computer check boxes alone. I can't imagine that all geeks actually know how to use computers properly, much less code. As an example, something like a quarter of my friends that are geeks are TERRIBLE with computers: just able to use graphic design software, the internet, and some games. on the other side, about 1/2 of the rest of my friends either have their own built rig or customized their rig since receiving so that it's got almost none of the original parts left. Of the ones that made/customized their machines, about 1/2 of those use Linux or have a separate server using Linux.
Either way though, nice.
