When saw this, i had to check if i took any "unlawful" substances. Negative for all substances but why do i still felt like i tripped on some heaviest shit in the world?
I have no idea what to say. I just…. don't know. Looking forward to the next volume, I want to know what the hell is going on.
It involves voluntary amnesia and inter-dimensional possession.
Lets just say there's a cycle of tradition that repeats every [REDACTED]. And ends with the main characters voluntarily wiping his own memories.
It's very reminiscent of the "When They Cry" series.
From what I was able to gather:
The simple plot: The character repeatedly wakes up on the island. He's subconsciously/ consciously doing it with the other females while wearing the mask. He escapes with Hitomi.
Below that: This has happened before, with a different female each time. He's repeatedly wiping his own memory and arranging to be brought back to the island each time (the "Wake up" film at the end).
This has been going on for generations/ a really long time: they're all pregnant at the end
Or like, I THINK that's what's going on -_- honestly, that was the only explanation I could come up with that made ANY sense whatsoever.
And the girl in the truck at the end??

I'm not sure, but that eye-patched maid is the prime character that got something to do with this whole fucked up illusion and is all behind this twisted weird fucked up shit, I wouldn't be surprised she's using some sort/type of drug, that's real potent shit!
This reminded me of inception, except instead of different "dream levels" you have "girl levels". I made it through the first volume and am halfway or more through the second, maybe my idea will hold up. Although I'm not sure how to explain the detective character, unless they were hired in one of the main male's girl levels.

I have never read this series~ I hope its a fun read.
It is like this: The main protagonist is the resurrection of the owner of the mansion. There were 6 member before the previous owner die. Number 6, a.k.a Hitomi, somehow run away with the reincarnation. Until the day they are caught. The plot is confused because it is a mix of the past and the present.
The only part that I couldn't decrypt was the monster hidden in the house.
Currently getting, but you're kinda wrong. 6 girls and 1 guy; each of their names is a pun on their number. MC's name is "Rokurou" hence, number 6. Hitomi is #1, Futaba is # 2, Misato(shrine maiden) is # 3, Shiori(girl with glasses in bus) is #4, I'm guessing Itsuki(tanned girl) is #5 though her name does not imply it and Nanase(bandaged girl) would likely be #7.
Well I'm no Japanese expert, but you do call the fifth day of a month "itsuka" so I think the name Itsuki is a play on five. Very nice hypothesis by the way.
