This doujin was done via a machine translation a.k.a. someone ran it through Google Translate and "attempted" to make sense of the dialogue, then "attempted" to make it readable. Mind you, the guy doing this had no knowledge of Japanese himself, so the "translation" is more than suspect from that alone. And that's the reason for that "off" feeling you had.
