Not necessarily. I mean, my mother became an aunt when she was 12. Further, I know a friend whose uncle was only two years older than him. You can possibly have children up to an age where the eldest child starts having children around the same time you stop. Say you have your first child at 20. You can still have children around 40 or 50, and around that point your first child will have their first child as well. So it is perfectly reasonable for the aunt to be about the same age as the nephew.

@??? I think this is a reference to the actual manga/anime, not the concept of an aunt
In the manga/anime, the aunt is basically a milf – she's quite old, and already has a kid in fact, but she try to act 'young'. And her daughter is the same age as the protagonist (you'll see other doujins related to this manga/anime with the daughter or the aunt)
Moreover, the child is around high school age (as a lot of other manga are..) and it was hinted that the aunt was on the younger side when she had her, so you can deduce her age from that.

Right, like S.C. said, the mother, Meme, while definitely having a youthful countenance and playful spirit, celebrates her 40th birthday during the events of the anime. Probably my favorite character in a series with many charmers. Makoto must be crazy to resist her like he does. Youth points can't be worth THAT much.
