If you have a Vita and would like to hack it and be able to play PSP ISOs and homebrew (NOT VITA GAMES…yet), go purchase and download the game "Mad Blocker Alpha" in the Playstation Store onto your Vita right now. They'll be releasing an exploit for it tomorrow and SONY is liable to remove it at any given second.
After you download it, turn on Airplane mode to ensure SONY doesn't patch it. Also, never update. It's not like you'll be missing anything anyway.

No, not exactly. It's called "hacking". Someone found an exploit in a game the developers missed, and that exploit allows us to run unofficial code such as a PSP emulator. Now that it's "announced" (well, technically I leaked the announcement, it isn't being officially announced until tomorrow trolololololol :3) SONY will pull the game from the PSP Store until they update the firmware (before the end of the week, if not by the end of tomorrow) completely stopping the exploit from working.
Ever heard of the Twilight Haxxx? It let you run unsigned code on a Nintendo Wii using an exploit that was found in Twilight Princess? It's essentially the same thing. (Coincidentally, that also let you run backups – read, pirated – of Wii and Gamecube games, either from burnt discs or USB HDDs)

Eh, its really unfortunate. I had a similar issue between me, days, and lwb with Otomedori translation. Just wish there was a better way to communicate projects being worked on. Good thing Christmas is almost upon us. All those overtime hours and pay will help with this financial blow.
My sincere take, guys, I've seen this problem over and over : even when you commission a full tank, DO chapter-by-chapter releases. This way other scanlators and commissioners will know in advance the spot is already taken. I feel bad when that happens to me, I feel bad when it happens to other people too
Couldn't the commissioners just use the money to fund something else instead?
A whole different matter if he started translating and editing it already though. (His Google doc seems to indicate that the series is currently "waiting for editor".)
As for ways to go about things scanlators are translating, it'd probably be best to announce it. Much like how fansubs announce the series they plan on working on in the upcoming season, scanlators should consider doing it too. Why? Well it's simple, really. You're likely to have at least one visitor who will see your announcement.. and the announcement the other group made. And then they can inform you of it so you drop it or ask for a collab.

Well, if the cheating stories deals about 2 persons who really care for each other, I don't mind. I haven't read yet this work, but the previous post from Harco doesn't make me worry about this kind of story. On the contrary, even if I believe in Meme50, I think I will pass on the last chapter if it about a real NTR story. Meme50 has already released rape an mind break stories with his DMC4 doujin, entitled "Mission" (there are 3 chapters), so I know he can do that kind of depressing story. What's with the NTR? Seriously. Christ, I hate it when the artists sneak in one or two 'undesirable stories' in with the rest of the vanilla. Even Yamatogawa is guilty of this. The only ones I can reliably trust are Homunculus, Kamino Ryu-ya and many other one-shot artists. To anyone who enjoys NTR, may death be the doorway to your damnation.
Do you prefer the other case maybe, with a book full of Rape/Mind break/NTR and a one or two vanilla stories like Otomedori from Carn or Meat Girls from Nagare Ippon ? One chapter with a depressing story will not kill you. As long as there is not a link between the vanilla stories and the dark ones (like Carn did with the Otomedori Book), I'm fine with that. And The mangakas are free to do whatever they want anyway. If you don't like it, you just have to pass on these depressing stories.
I also hate NTR a lot, but I think we have to keep in mind that it is a fetish like any other. As long as people don't mix reality and fiction, I am okay with that. If you want an hilarious explanation about why people are into NTR/Rape and even Tentacle stories, you can check the chapter 4 of Oyomesama HONEYDAYS (a great work from Tana and translated by LWB). XD

Nebula, you’re not undestanding the Japanese publishing system.
Japanese mangakas don’t work on a full volume, and when they’ve done the 200 pages, bring it to a publisher who’ll give a high five.
An artist agrees with a magazine for a chapter-long work, and the artist discusses with the editor the magazine appointed to him what the theme of the chapter will be. The editor is paid to know the market trends and to know what the readers of the magazine are wanting : vanilla, netorare, incest, etc. Of course it’s an open discussion, but, still, there is customer needs.
Only superstars like Yamatogawa or Gunma Kisaragi get to work on full-volume stories from the get-go.
In other words : you can’t blame a tank to have one “wrong” chapter, while this is, to the contrary, a miracle the whole volume is made of otherwise “coherent” chapters.
