(Personally, 3000++ scans force me to set my viewer to “fit to screen” and then to zoom in, I hate it, I prefer 1600px scans, I watch them without resizing ^^)

What viewer do you use? There should be some comicreaders with "fit to width" option like CDisplayEX, which can also open zip/rar without unzipping/unraring the archives.
I use acd see classic, it also has a fit to width option, of course. But an image made to fit to width doesn't look good, the image viewers don't do a good job like actual picture editing programs like photoshop can do.
What kind of interpolation do you use ?
Lanczos filter should brind the best results.

Been awhile since this was posted. I remember when but my favorite series by Suehirogari K.A.A.R. vol. 1 & 2 is not on here. If I remember right tonigobe did translated them.You should definately add them to your list!
