Now that I think of it, I’ve seen many mangas in which people living in islands had fucking STUPID traditions or customs, making them look like full retards or dangerous freaks born from prolungated consanguinity (there’s even a “high on bad acid” version). Please, @ people knowing Japan, is it a misinterpretation of mine, or are islanders really looked down upon, in some way, by mainlanders ? |
With that intro, prepare yourselves ! A couple of naive youngsters have a love marriage, and, retard island tradition oblige, the girl is gangbanged by all the available males while the boy is forced to watch, weeping. At least it seems to end with the couple still intact and still in love(maybe…) so it isn't full on NTR( though the text during the color pages intimate the affairs started prior to the "ritual" so who the fuck knows) I think I'll read Otome Gari again and smile at the thought of gang raping douches getting hospitalized or killed.

I agree with guest. It's hard to gather, but even though this does have NTR like cliches, I don't know if we can necessarily say it crossed NTR boundaries. Not only were both the girl and guy completely unaware that this was a town ritual, but even while she enjoyed the gangbang, in the end, she really felt bad for hurting her husband. And they do seem to stay together, probably under the assumption she'll never do it again.
The only bad part is that if her new thirst for pleasure and lust will make her unfaithful to him in the future. With this being hentai, dudes chances are looking pretty grim.

But seriously, the manga missed out greatly on axes, chain saws, and rusty knives and barbed wire. Japan looks down on islanders in the same way that USAians look down on redneck southerners.
