Formerly, we had If – The Puppy Story, in which time rewinding allowed moving and beautiful dramatic developments, with a really fine and well-thought ending.
Here, once again there’s a way to go back in time for a few hours… however, it goes the wrong way, making the person who uses that device lose any moral reference, until he behaves like an asshole. Mind you, that person is served in the end, what a fine final reversal, hu hu hu

Would it be wrong to start discussing the plot regarding time/space travel and its implications as well as alternate realities? 'Cause dude the ending does not make much sense if he just goes to the past and back to the present.

As things are, everything returns to the time indicated on the clock after the key has been turned, everything, except the memory of the male hero. Why would that be contradictory ?
I read it again and cleared at least one doubt in my mind: apparently he doesn't turn the clock back after taking the girl with glasses' virginity – that would clear my point with alternate reality.
Still, if he goes back, she shouldn't remember him using the device – and god knows how she discovers his intent in using it.
