Here’s something unusual on Hentairules.net, a western comic, recommended by a kind fellow called Jake, thank you man There is only soft eroticism, no actual pornography, so I doubt this may be used as wanking material. And it’s fine like that. Reading Empowered felt damn GOOD, it was funny, arousing, surprising, catching ! I hope you may have a great time reading it |
With a strong manga-ish inspiration, Empowered shows the adventures and daily life of a bunch of heroes, heroines and villains. They’re like real humans, not the epitome of anything, with ego or daily problems, their shortcomings, their cute sides… Like Killing Time, I bet you didn’t think one could use time like that, or the poor Protean, being beaten by him, flooded in proteins, could lead to nasty misunderstandings…
The artist, with his nice refreshing sense of humour, his constant nuking of the 4th wall, makes it all TOTALLY enjoyable ! 
If you like the three volumes I linked, or if you want to support Adam Warren and his publishing house, I encourage you to consider purchasing the rest, hmm ? 
There are 7 volumes at the moment, plus 2 deluxe editions, plus 4 special volumes. You’ll find them all HERE, at the publisher’s website, there are digital and good old printed versions. I'm a huge fan of Empowered. Adam Warren did great work for Gen13 as well. I love it when my worlds collide.

I really wanted to share the love for Empowered, but if the cost was that you'd actually lose sales, and the artist lose money, I'd have given up on sharing it. Just for that reason, even though finding a complete Emp pack isn't hard, I found no reason to share more than what I was first given in a link.
I hope my positive review, call for purchasing and link to your site had the intended effect, eventually
Empowered is easily my favourite current comic series now that Scalped has wrapped up. I've bought all seven volumes plus the Maid Man one-shot, and I'm hoping to see volume 8 sometime this year.
One thing: I'm assuming you meant "Like Killing Time". "Kike Killing Time" sounds a little too Hitlery for Empowered.

It's because they made some kinda Rapidgator Downloader. You can still download the old way by unchecking "use the Rapidgator Downloader", a little below the download button. It's annoying, but at least they're not making it an exclusive.
Um.. guys.. go easy on this.. it gets REALLY fucking dark in later issues.. NOT KIDDING.

I have all 7 volumes and 2 of the 3 comics. Do youself a favor and buy these books. It's GREAT series!
This Series is a gem! I don’t even like American Comics all that much, more so those 4th-wall breakers, but I loved this! Sorta, but not quite, reminds me of a slice-of-life Superhero series with Deadpool’s atmosphere.
Turns a lot Darker? That sucks. A genre shift to bloodier stories might be a bit too jarring for me.
Its not a genre shift, just that the artist is well known for shall we say "storyline tthat doesnt hold back" but it keeps within my tolerances. Not guro or uneccesary violence. He did quite a few Dirty Pair comics in the mid to late 90s as well as a bubblegum crisis one (Plague of angels, Biohazards, Sim hell are the DP ones and Grand Mal the BGC one) and has been a firm favourite of mine along with Fred Perry of Gold Digger fame (by Antarctic press – check it out they have over 150 back issues on double dvd-rom for less than $30) its hard to explain Adam warrens darker storyline without spoilers so i wont even try. Suffice to say its all good and he even self-parodies the fact his stories tend towards this in Empowered itself.
I own a few of these too. More people knowing about Emp = good!
It's not fap material, but it's funny as hell. Nearly busted a gut. Oliver, sharing this comic was pure genius.
I highly recommend this series, as not only is the artist REALLY good at articulating what he's trying to tell, it's also godamn, laugh-out-loud funny. New readers need to understand that the series takes a brutally dark turn about half-way through it's current length… so I hope folks are preped when it happens.
Forgot to say for those wanting an alternative way to buy these the Empowered issues are now available in kindle format from Amazon, but i myself always prefer paperbacks, and have all 7 volumes
I got a B&N membership so I went through them(Free 1-3 day Shipping, WOO!). I like paperbacks too.

I doubt I'll ever see a localized (not English, in my language, I mean) version of Empowered, sadly. I wonder if it's worth hoping to see it some day and put off a purchase until then, or not..
Fan of Adam since the DP Dark Horse days, so finding out about this is very cool.
Time to go give Adam some of my money……
I just bought volumes 4-7 and I'll probably pick up 1-3 next months since I already read them(collection purposes). Thanks Oliver, I was iffy at first but this one turned out to be damn enjoyable
