A personal note : with my wife, we tried several times to cook with tofu. But we failed. It always struck us this was, basically, an ingredient with consistence but not with taste, simply taking the taste of what it was cooked with. That’s unsettling O_o

its an awesome spicy chinese dish best served with rice. Also, you might want to try cooking with egg tofu if you want a little more taste in them
You should try deep frying tofu then wrapping it in Seaweed and Sesame Seeds.
That is exactly what Tofu is. It's basically another grain except super healthy -> it has almost no taste of its own, so you cook it with something delicious and it takes on the delicious flavor while remaining super healthy.
