HurpDurp here! It’s time for another tankōbon h-anime adaption! This time it’s Hyocorou’s Kakushi Dere! What’s that? “Oliver never shared that here”? Well, that’s because no one has ever translated the whole thing (just the first five chapters) or even redid the mag scans on tank scans afaik. Either way, he has shared both chapters the anime is based off of! Episode 1 is based off Hidden-Dovey and Episode 2 is based off February 14th (and it’s step-incest). Both have one brand new original scene in them, so if you’re a fan of either chapter, check it out! IMO, episode 1 was 100x better than episode 2. I was literally laughing my ass off the whole time, it was really hilarious. I had a tough time picking an image, I ultimately went with that cuz it reminded me of something. Episode 2 had only one joke in like the whole thing, and the scanlation version of it was more funny. Actually, the subs for episode one were way better than Sling’s translation of the manga.
Both of these were done by Erobeat! The translation of episodes one and two was handled by Snake, Timing of episode one was done by Anon and the Typesetting and Encoding of episode one are courtesy of ShocWave, who also did the Timing in episode two.

So… This is my last post for a bit. Maybe a week, maybe a month. All depends. See, I completely ran out of hard drive space while making this. I literally cannot download any more animes or audios, nor can I create any ZIP or RAR files. Everything is full. So… I’m gonna start looking for a new HDD, but since I’m poor it might take awhile to find something I can afford. I’m shooting for 4TB, preferably around $150. At the time of writing this, the cheapest I can find is this one at Amazon for $170, but I’ve had bad past experiences with Hitachi, so…

Oh, Illy (the translator) just came back about a week ago. So once we actually get the raws from Kalevala we'll be able to start. Might take awhile because of C84 tho. If you read Koe de Oshigoto too, the next chapter (or maybe two?) should be out when Mumei gets back from his vacation assuming I get a HDD by then.
Hoping to finish the manga I'm doing with Red before then tho. Shit takes forever, I'm literally remaking every black shade by hand with the paintbrush (on KdO too, actually) because the scans are shit.
Oh, and there's also the rerelease of chapters one-three of Kimisuki. With chapters 4 and 5 already completed, ofc. It should be noted I'm more of an h-scanslator than a non-h scanslator. Evil Virgin is very non-h to the point it was canceled after just 16 chapters,but it's on my to do list. Kimisuki takes priority more due to the fact I was paid to do it.
You're more than welcome to join my IRC (either THMMY's or HentaiRules') if you wanna know what's going on. We could use a non-h QC who's native language is English anyway.
Thanks for the offer and I'd accept that in a bird's heartbeat, but like I mentioned on my last comment: my job as a writer is too time consuming I can barely keep up with my Japanese studies and not only is English my native language but I also have Spanish as my second language. I'm trying to make Japanese my third, but as I said: too busy :'( I use your and Oliver's shares for inspiration on my work. My work is non-h, but it does has it's "Ecchi" detail

Well, all you’d be doing is reading it before anyone else and checking for mistakes. It wouldn’t take that much time.
Oh and if anyone else here is reading this and is interested, the “job” is open to anyone. You just require a native level English speaking skill and be preferably from the United States (scanlations are normally done in American English).
I'd be interested in helping out with QC. What would that entail? I lurk around this site pretty regularly, so I figure I might as well help with something if it isn't all that time-consuming. I consider my grasp of American English and grammar to be pretty well-developed.
Point out grammatical mistakes, spelling errors or ways to rewrite a sentence so it sounds more fluid and make sure sentences are idiomatic. Ofc any of your suggestions have to use American English, and if you're not a native-English speaker being idiomatic is damn near impossible.
Yup, yup… I could do that. Re-reading my post, I made it sound a bit like I "acquired" American English and I think I'm good at it, but I'm native–from California! And re-writing things to improve flow and conveyance is something I have to do pretty often as a university student and hobby-comic writer, so I'm in practice, too.

Also, 3TB ain’t enough space. I filled up my last 3TB in less than a few weeks.
I've been downloading hentai since 2001, I pretty much have ALL the fansubbed hentai releases ever made, along with some high quality 3d stuff from circles like umemaro 3d. Surprisingly enough, it doesn't take as much space as I thought it would. I got roughly 60 dvd's burnt to save hard drive space over that time period. Then when blu ray came out, I've got about 5 of those full of H anime so far. And then I haven't been burning any dvd/blu ray for the last year since I hadn't needed to make any more space with my upgraded to a 1TB hdd last year. Surprisingly, downloading every single H anime for little more than a year only took a litle under 400 gb. (each one ranging anywhere from 200mb to 2 gigs) So with a 3 tb hdd, you can store roughly 9 years worth of hentai

Wow, I don't know what to say lol. I thought I downloaded alot, guess I got beat. But I do download every ripped H anime that comes out and I haven't needed any more space since about a year ago. Also, I'm talking about H anime only. I've got other drives for normal manga/anime/games/movies

It's like downloading 1080p porn or "good old average quality" porn. 300 MB or 2 GB per porn flick, the difference in disk occupation quickly becomes shocking
I don't know if anyone here knows this, but this player called Daum pot player, has been out for a while now, and you don't need to mess with/download any codecs for it at all! It can play all formats. I used to update my codecs every time a new one came out and that got annoying fast. New anime/hentai wouldn't work unless I updated every now and then. With the daum pot player, you just click and play! No this isn't an advertisement, because it's free. I know there are guys out there who hate messing with codecs just like me. I don't know how it works, but its awesome to not deal with external codecs that can mess with other programs sometimes.
And secondly, do you really need codecs to display hard coded mp4 movies?
Nope. It's just there so I don't forget when posting something that's an mkv.
I've tried Potplayer before – despite claiming to support 10bit, none of my 10bit videos worked. So I don't recommend it to anyone.
whens the last time you tried it? I've got anime/hentai from all sorts of formats, mkv 8 bit, 10 bit, h264 etc, never had an issue. Other players are also pretty good with external codecs but there was always that one or two that wouldn't play right.

I may give it a try, my VLC's got a problem with some WMVs, if I time skip there are 3 or 4 seconds during which the view remains pixelated, this is utterly irritating, grrr.

Welp – for anyone who cares, I won't be having a post this weekend. That sale I mentioned stopped before I could buy it and nothing has any of sale this week apparently. If I don't get one by Tuesday night, I won't have a post next weekend either as I have no animes left to upload that I've already watched. :/

Good news nobody! My internal SSD just died! So I not only have any space, but now I can't even boot my computer at all. That also means all the money I had for that external is now being redirected to buying a new internal.
I'm probably gonna be out of commission for awhile.
