If bus shelters in the H-universe could talk, they might have many a tale to tell …of course in our time, technonogy (surreptitiously positioned) and the Internet might do the actual "talking".

this isn't related to this post, but i just wanted to follow up on the last time i commented on smutty manga for girls ^^
this is just one example out of many (warning: slight netorare? not sure): http://mangafox.me/manga/deep_sex/v01/c001/2.html
it's interesting how smut directed at girls and guys are different! for example, the drawings of genitalia are far less detailed, the drawings are soft and less defined, and the men are always handsome of course!! i don't think it should be surprising that sexy manga exist for girls since girls are only human too ^_^
also, a random note but i thought i'd say something since this short features a little bit of "cheating"–i noticed that many of your readers don't like "female netorare", but as a girl, that has never bothered me. i think because the concept of being attractive to multiple men is appealing to me, which i am sure you understand; i've never seen anyone object to "male netorare" and many hentai manga feature 1 male protagonist having sex with a gigantic harem of women, which i've never been that fond of. regardless, even though i don't like it, i don't feel as strongly against it as many of you seem to… it seems that most of you usually identify with the jilted male in netorare stories, but i wonder why more of you don't identify with the male who the girl is cheating with/seems to prefer? i would think there would be some kind of appeal in being able to best the competition and successfully bed a girl that you fancy.

Thanks for the input, Kristin !

I ended Deep Sex and ended up liking it, thanks for the read, too ^^

Regarding netorare, I'll switch to my previous opinion, this is the ONLY side of hentai that is likely to happen to us for real. So we are particularly touchy about it. Wary. Careful. Cautious. Okay, we feel threatened, and hate it as a protection reflex. I think :)

There's also a big difference between the idea of seducing partners after partners, and netorare'ing someone. I agree with the first but not with the latter.
On top of all, I don't think many men will be able to identify themselves with the sexual partner of a girl who is netorare'ing her man. Feeling like shit inside doesn't help enjoying sex…

Lots of men will approve of mangas in which a man secudes women after women, but then they'll cry and throw the blame if a manga depicts a woman doing the same, yep, that is stupid :[

sorry for the rambling ^^;;; a lot of this was really just me trying to figure out how i felt about various aspects of hentai manga and realizing i started answering my own questions the more i wrote about it ^^;

I'm glad you liked it ^^ The only reason why I brought up NTR was because I felt the short story I linked was somewhat NTR since the heroine has sex with the main male character while she is dating another man. anyways, if you're curious about more, mangafox has a whole bunch of smutty shoujo manga that you can peruse, but as you can see, they are much more tame than hentai or even ecchi manga and revolve a lot around feelings ^^ .

i totally understand why NTR can be an undesirable scenario for both men and women, but i think what surprises me most is the depth of disdain for female netorare that i've seen here on hentairules. I guess i don't put myself that emotionally invested in the scenarios since they're all obviously fiction anyways (i mean i would HOPE none of you actually want to rape women???), so i just try to take the sex for what it is ^^;;; because i am able to do this, it does surprise me when i see that many men are vehemently unable to do so with female NTR stories. i suppose it is because straight men have so many options for porn so you are able to be picky about what you will and won't read, but there aren't many hentai manga that explicitly cater to the desires of girls.

i think there is a difference between manga where the protagonist seduces a string of lovers vs NTR but only in the way that the story is framed. in long running hentai manga, a male protagonist will have 1 particular lover that they have "deep" love with (usually childhood friend/tsundere type) but will have sex with multiple partners (sometimes even after a relationship with the main female character is established) before eventually professing monogamy with the chosen one. the main difference is that in those stories, the main female love interest who was NTR-ed by the male will take the cheating much more lightly than the male would in a story where the male gets NTR-ed. The girl who was NTR-ed will immediately get convinced by the hero that he loves her, and then she will happily acquiesce to having sex either one-on-one with him or in a giant orgy with all the girls that the main character had sex with prior ^^; Usually a jilted male upon finding that his girl had been cheating on him will get very angry/sad and either cry and leave her forever or participate in a angry/hateful sex orgy with her. I suppose I can't get too upset about the double standard of male readers since partially your disdainful feelings after female NTR stories is the fault of the mangaka who has set up the story such that the men are supposed to feel sad at the end of the NTR story… which explains mostly why most of your readers dislike NTR with the exception of miray ozaki's ongoing series about ai-chan (who i LOVE). and i remember that story seemed to have gotten a lot of positive reception! so perhaps it's not actually the cheating that upsets readers, it's the abuse, rape and/or portrayal of depression that upsets readers?

wow, i am rambling and i am not even sure i stayed on topic?? this is the first time i have actually participated in any discourse about hentai since i'm too shy to reveal this interest to anyone ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; not even my boyfriend knows i like hentai manga, he might be shocked if he did know ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Many netorare stories feature disgusting old men, ugly fat dudes, straight-up rapists, and all-around assholes. Most involve stupid blackmail, some involve drugs, and generally involve mind-breaking the girl into submission. If you want to be seen merely as an object of sexual gratification, be my guest. :D
I don't know how many guys would want to identify themselves with those kinds of filth.

Adding to the rage is the main male character's lack of spine when he does nothing upon seeing his girl being assaulted by another man. If he tried his hardest to protect her and got beaten up badly and forced to watch, readers would understand. Heck, even Guts (badass as he is) couldn't save Casca from what Femto did to her. But to stand by and do nothing… what a beta.

It's a different story altogether when the guy who's stealing is a nice guy like in Napata's "My Next door Neighbor Yamasaki-san" http://www.hentairules.net/2012/10/16/my-next-doo… Itaba Hiroshi's "The Same School", http://www.hentairules.net/2011/10/03/the-same-sc… or Saida Kazuaki's Rival Love (found in the Paipain tank).

When the stealer isn't doing it for kicks, and has a deep emotional investment in the relationship, then we're rooting for him.

>> i've never seen anyone object to "male netorare"
I'm seething at Hisasi's "Fui ni Ai" where the older woman takes advantage of the boy and nips his attraction to his classmate before it could blossom. D: Made worse since his classmate seems interested in him too.

Oh, I guess I didn't mean to generalize that I particularly like when the girl is abused into liking her abuser; the manga that you are talking about which feature ugly old men who force girls to cheat on their boyfriends–before "NTR", I would have categorized that first and primarily as a rape fantasy genre and only maybe NTR since it was nonconsensual? It seems strange to me to feel angry at the girl for cheating when she is essentially being raped. This would also address your feelings on "Fui ni Ai", which I haven't read, but seems more about a man getting raped than it is about him committing netorare.

Maybe my parameters for NTR are off, but I thought NTR just referred to a woman/man who was cheating on his significant other, presumably somewhat consensually. Anyhoo, all I was saying was that the female NTR, a niche genre, seems to repels almost all of the (male) readers on hentairules, but pretty much every hentai manga that features a central male protagonist will also feature male NTR in that he will have sex with multiple female partners even after establishing "true love" with one particular female. And I totally understand why the female NTR is not a desirable scenario for men, I only wanted to remark on my own personal observation that though I don't prefer harem-type hentai, I will still read it, but conversely, many men are through and through extremely unwilling to read female NTR and are often very disgusted.

I really enjoyed http://www.hentairules.net/2013/09/18/pack-of-3-w
and this other manga that I don't remember the name of–the general story was a woman who went abroad and ended up falling for a European (??) guy. Both of those stories featured attractive men who seduced the woman and I rather liked those. Keep in mind, I would never cheat on my boyfriend in real life, but it is the fantasy of being so desired by someone that they would want to take me away from an existing relationship that is appealing.

I understand why this scenario is unappealing for a man (I mean who wants to be cheated on??), but it is interesting to me that Oliver continues to post them anyways and people continue to have vehemently opposed opinions about it ^^;

i'm sorry for rambling >_<;; i don't comment much and was surprised to get a response >_<;
