Let’s discard the cover, I can’t believe Amatarou could choose a girl with a spine so lethally twisted, with wrestler’s thighs below, as a cover. My brain hurts. But everything else is cool, fortunately… or so I would have liked to say. Frankly, there’s also the other main issue, ever since japan hardened its practices and publishers enforced stronger censorship, hentai has lost part of its appeal. Like here, the censorship is abominable, blurred mosaics all the way, and it ruined good part of the excitement given by the manga.
I even found myself skimming through the pages without reading everything, past the second half of the volume 
Still, there are the many good parts. The art is awesome. Amatarou’s humour panels are numerous and always take us by surprise, it’s a renewed delight every few pages. The faces are really cute, the large breasts are hypnotizing. The paizuris are godly. This is always happy sex with mutual love or liking, with the girls making the first step. See, why, oh god why must the hellish censorship get in the way ?? T__T

Ah, also, fair warning with an error margin (I skimmed through the second half, the censorship had disappointed me too much and getting too “invested”, too deep into the stories, would only lead to hurting me more when the censorship would appear), there might be a loli chapter. Yes, the censorship is a bit much but only Amatarou, Distance and Fueta Kishi has that certain talent for drawing such wonderful large breasts that they don't bother me regardless of the size.
The translation is a bit… rough. It feels rigid and unnatural, and doesn't seem to flow in a realistic conversation. It reads just like literal translations from Japanese.
That kills it for me, more than the censorship.

I heard Japanese censorship got tighter for a few reasons.
1)Stores were selling porn to kids, and not keeping books covered
2) The drawings were getting “too realistic” (think “Honey Room” by Beauty Hair, poor guy)
3) Some people think politicians had scores to settle with specific authors (lots of people were never targetted)
4) The Japanese are prone to histeria, blaming violence on manga, anime, etc… (wiki moral panic)

I dunno. All I know is the top editor was arrested and he pled guilty, dunno what happened after that. I assume he went to jail, but maybe he was just fined millions of yen. Either way, Megastore was forced to cease publication, so it's not something someone running a business wants.
Hurp, it’s not a conspiracy theory. The Comic Megastore raid happened last year. Japan passed Bill 156 back in 2010 to enforce stricter requirements on anime and manga. This was in response to public concerns of increased crime, which was blamed on “harmful material”.
“Harmful material” now includes “any manga, animation, or pictures (but not including real life pictures or footage) that features either sexual or pseudo sexual acts that would be illegal in real life, or sexual or pseudo sexual acts between close relatives whose marriage would be illegal, where such depictions and / or presentations unjustifiably glorify or exaggerate the activity.”
Comic Megastore didn’t do anything new or different from other publishers. It just didn’t have good enough mosaics to comply with Bill 156. In fact, companies are worried that older comics will be banned since they were drawn back when the laws weren’t so strict.
Olvier, I don’t think they’re in prison. Only three people were charged, and they pled guilty to reduced charges in December. They probably paid a fine, but Comic Megastore and free speech dead.

I’m new to this site and I don’t know what other people have said. But I do know this: the increase in anime/manga censorship didn’t happen because of the Comic Megastore crackdown. The crackdown happened because of increased censorship.
And the four points I listed are true.

No, the increase in censorship was most definitely because of the raid. They passed a new law awhile ago that no one took seriously until one of the major players got taken down.
I’m not sure why this isn’t comprehensible.
