I can’t really tell why, the need to listen again to Lufia 2’s ending came up today. And, boy, some good songs from the 16-bit era remain awesome.

If you ever played Lufia 2, enjoy that one, full of sadness and joy, crowning one of the best RPGs of olde :)

If you’re to it, I found two worthy covers, one with rearranged synthethizer and another with beautiful vocal singing.

(While I’m at it, thanks for the quality and abundant feedback when I asked about renaming images or huge archives splitting! I’ll check it out tomorrow, i don’t have enough time today!)

The moment when Jeros smiles to his mom… I can't recall if there was another time, while playing RPGs, when I cried tears…

I remember playing alot of Lufia: Legends return on my gameboy back in the day. Could barely speak english but with trial and errors i managed to get pretty far. I remember if i finished the game but i had a good time with it as yougn me.

OH GOD, the intro to that game is awesome, spoiled me the end of Lufia & Fortress of Doom. but still so epic, music & text and it is "only" a Gameboy game.

Man I feel old, I played the Fortress of Doom one back on SNES.

I listen to the OST in the car, like the battle music.

Yup old games had such nice music, My most loved one is still the ending of Terranigma ("Illusion of Gaia 2" in america i think). http://www.ocremix.org has tons of remixed versions of old NES and SNES and other game music, check it out if, some of them are truly epic.

Alot of people claim Final Fantasy is the best RPG series; I disgress

Lufia 2 IS the best RPG on the SNES: the battle system was excellent, alot of puzzles to solve, the spells were awesome, stroy is great and the music godly. The boss theme is one of my most favourite boss themes ever and let's not get started on one of the most epic songs in the game imo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gyiPK-8hko

I got my ass kicked by the Tarantula boss 6 times and gave up each time. I kept coming back. That's how great this game is

I'm personally slightly more in favour of FF6 and Chrono Trigger, but it's really by a hair's margin.

I would SO like to see those games re-made for recent consoles. Not changing the music or the scenario, just improving the gameplay and visuals, with additional videos for the eye-candy…
