I forget if they're married by the end of onegai teacher, but they're married by the start of onegai sister, which is I think a year later? or is it less then a year?
Edit: Oli, your thinking near the end of the series when Mizuho's mom and sister seal his memories of there time together to find out if he truly loves her.

FYI: The person who's behind the pictures getting out so Mizuho gets blackmailed? Her mother, Hatsuho. the way the series worked out, Kei, who's actually 18, but whose body didn't age properly due to his "standstill" condition, had to marry Mizuho to save her job. So, legally married. After a few episodes they finally made love, but further issues caused another standstill episode, which resulted in Mizuho saving him, but having to leave Earth and wipe his memory. In the final episode, she returns to start things over, but his memory comes back, and they resume where they left off. The last episode is an OVA, and it has Hatsuho kidnap him to a love hotel, so that Mizuho will follow them there, and so that the couple can have some fun there. The sequel was Please Twins! and its an open secret that they're married to everyone at school.
