Soft kitty, warm kitty, little of furr... - Ooops, wrong series!

Sooo… Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Monster Girl Encyclopedia, this is a series of fan-made books, from various authors, aiming at listing the most popular monster and fantasy girls in anime/manga/games Japanese culture, in hentai or non-hentai fashion, this is it ?
My sources are scare: the list of the books, and the wiki from which it comes.
And, in this context, the present share is one of the many volumes of the series.

The story: a human finds himself lost in a forest getting more bizarre with every step – welcome to wonderland, mate. A nekomimi greets him, offers to help him find his way, and the rest is everyone having sex everywhere, lol.
I can’t say I’m a total fan of the drawings, but I think those of you who love Mizuryu Kei (Alice No Takarabako) should dig that one well enough.

A more personal note: I never liked Disney’s Alice In Wonderland movie. Behind the amusing and “wow I’m so high” appearances, there is glorified pointless cruelty, a state of hopelessness, in a wicked universe alternating between dystopia, anomia and nihilism. This book, even though it’s short and focused on porn, captures well this feeling of being trapped inside a twisted space following unreliable rules. I liked not liking it – if it even makes any sense to say it like that.

I was waiting for this to be translated, thanks! I never really thought about the Cheshire Cat being a monster girl, but whatever works. I like how in the end the dude gets to decide on going back or staying with her.

If you read the original Alice, it’s pretty clear the whole thing is in Alice’s head, with scenes flowing into each other and changing in the way that things do in dreams or hallucinations. Disney’s version was Wonderland being a real place with actual characters that Alice somehow traveled to. So anyone who retells the story will pick one of these two styles.

TV shows that recast all their characters into the story will usually do a dream story like the original. Movies, books, and porn like to do sequels so they’ll usually do it Disney-style in Wonderland. Maybe that’s why the Disney version seems more commercial and exploitive, because it’s the style everyone adopts when they want to seriously explore the story.

My fear about the coming future of gene splicing is not the atomic supermen it will produce, but he the randy monster girls.
