I’m not sure I should recommend this doujinshi to everyone… maybe, only to those of you who have some familiarity with Code Geass ?
Why I’m shying away from yelling “this is awesome shit, get it nooooooow!”, basically: (1) the art quality is relatively average, only a few pages reach a climax of quality, and (2) I am getting the feeling that understanding what the hell is going on (me: I had no clue most of the time) would provide considerable benefits and make the readers feel emotionally touch, it seems to me to have that positive potential.
Very short summary: various Code Geass girls (I recognized Euphie, CC, and there’s also a tanned one, never remember her name), and Lelouch and the other probably homo bishie guy. In combos. Happy sex.
Seriously, just see for yourselves at this point ^^;;

It’s been a while since i watch code geass, so much that i can’t remember what is this “refrain” means. The only mind manipulation trick that i remember was emperor charles’ geass, which he use to manipulate lelouch memory in season 2.
Anyway, the third act is a nice one, it took place right after the final episode ends, and it based on the “good ending” interpretation where lelouch was alive and managed to sneak away with cc.
Wasn’t Refrain the drug that made you remember stuff from years ago, making the user more and more caught up in their memories? Which would explain why he’s acting like everyone’s older than him.
All in all I agree with Oliver, the doujin is nice, but there’s not quite enough flow to it. Choosing one of these themes and making a full story out of it sounds great, though. Probably first or last one, just going from my personal tastes
