Hello everyone

A very quick mention, to tell I updated the zip links for Conveni-N, and I replaced its old gallery with tons of broken images, with my new gallery system that allows for flawless online reading.

If you still don’t know yet of Conveni-N, please check it out, this is one of those rare hentai jewels entirely focused on hilarious crazy comedy, in the same league as Yomeiro Choice, I consider this belongs to the few “must absolutely read” comedy h-mangas

One month and a week too late: OH MY GOD HENTAIRULES IS NINE YEARS OLD
I created the hentairules.net website on the 17th of December 2006, after an initial foundation at blogspot.com in April of the same year.

Nine years (and a month) later, we have…

I thank you all, you dear perverts visiting the site, for keeping me motivated to share what I find to be the most worthy day after day, because tending for Hentairules is a lot of fun all in all, it’s a daily dose of reasons to smile for me, haha
Hentai scene guys, editors, translators, proofreaders, commissioners, and everyone else around it or helping, if you happen to read the present post, you also have my dearest thanks. My love for the crazy creative possibilities offered by manga, with a bonus when it also provides porn, would have been very sad if it weren’t for your amazing dedication to allow us to have quality contents to read. So many things totally worth discovering, enjoying, feeling moved, laughing while reading… Thank you

Long story short, with that you can give money to the creator of your choice (SNO in the present case), to support him/her, and you receive in exchange rare materials.

Honestly I’m not very interested in the idea of receiving anything that’s not translated anyway (yay scanlations!!), but a GREAT artist like that deserves lots of love and support already, and I’m glad to have found, at last, a way to send it directly.

I’m simply sharing the link, in case you guys too would like to give back some love

– Update: OK, so as a member, I can tell: we don’t understand shit, everything important is in Japanese, and automated translation isn’t worth it. So, honestly, I’m not getting anything in exchange of my money. But that’s fine by me, my point was to throw some money at an artist I adore. I just, well, with this update, wanted to be honest and not make false promises.

Two quick notes, I thought to pass on:

Is someone interested in making h-sharing posts on Hentairules ?
You know, as Delta-Oblivion occasionally does, or as the much-regretted Hurp Durp (he’s not dead guys, just gone inactive in that regard, although I feel it’d be nice if he came back) does with his hentai audio posts. A topic of interest, or something you like, that you’d like to share with everyone as a blog post on hentairules, from times to times.

Basically, leave me a chance with the fresh stuff, but apart from that, if there are things you’d want to post on the occasion, why not. Your choices, your description, your personality, your links (I can host image galleries ofc.)

Second note: YES, another confirmation, the torrent is coming. I’ve got a life, you know, a job, money to earn, family, stuff, every year I have less time, something that I make up for with ever-renewed efforts at personal productivity in all regards, however even like that, preparing this gigatorrent takes an extraordinary amount of time. I’m 2-thirds finished re-sorting my shares of last year into my long term h-shares storage, after this, another day to copy it to a new partition, expunge it and remove the empty folders, another day to upload it (and God bless Fiber) and it can go. Just a few things I thought I could mention while I’m at it, about Hentairules…

• I have given up on IntenseDebate for the comments. It really saddens me, but this abrupt decision became unavoidable.
  Something about the plugin became bad and my server’s error logs, as I recently discovered, were literally flooded with errors generated by Intensedebate: not mere forgettable errors, the plugin was trying to make use of wrong SQL. This is something fundamentally bad. Something that poses a threat of corruption to the rest of the blog. And when I wanted to contact the creators or support team of Intensedebate, to inform them, I found that even their support and contact pages had closed doors. Requiescat in pace. So long, and thanks for the fish.
  
• Still, what else to use in place of IntenseDebate ? I detest Disqus. I tried a variety of things today, and finally ended up with Wp-Discuz.
  Look at the comments fields on Hentairules today, say, may I ask you your opinion ? How do you feel about how they’re now ?
• What else… I’m sure there was more… Ah, yeah, yeah. Two full days ago, I toyed with the CSS of Hentairules, and I added a little quirk about how the text with hyperlinks is looking, to make hyperlinked texts slightly more noticeable (the quirk: a shadow effect of a slightly brighter color). Honestly… did you even notice ? If so, does it feel nice, or to the contrary, unpleasant, and you would want it undone ?
  — Update: OK, I’m giving up on the shadow effect, it had several side-effects that weren’t cool.
  Oh, and I found my CSS forced the same color on already visited links, why ? Fixed, I added a new color.
  How about having the texts underlined ?
• Check your spamboxes. I discovered I had a wrong server setting that made Gmail and Hotmail prejudiced against emails I would send. I fixed it today (I shall not call this the 130 funniest minutes of my life, but at least I learned something new about server management).
• Lastly, two things about the Hentairules Gigatorrent.
• I haven’t forgotten, okay ? Previously, the Gigatorrent ended before the year, which felt… weird, for me. This year, I decided the gigatorrent would include EVERYTHING from 2015, so I didn’t start preparing it until the year 2015 was over (and I had sobered up). Long story short, I am currently working on preparing it, you should see it within a week now
• However, I also remember the previous Gigatorrent was, mysteriously, missing the works of some artists. I don’t speak about the materials scorched by Wani requests, some artists had their folders missing from the gigatorrent, for reasons unknown. Please, if you know of some of these… do tell me in a comment, and I’ll be extra-careful about their inclusion in the in-preparation new torrent

Well, R.I.P. 2015, you tough bastard of a year!

We’ve been travelling a long road, 2015 hasn’t been quiet, in practically all regards. In hentai, outside of hentai, for the world, and even in my life (more on the “FML” mode than “yay” style, but, heh, I can endure. That said, if someone wants to hire me to work for real, sure, I really start to need a new job.)
I hope things have been OK for you, or else, grit your teeth, smile, and let’s hope things get better in the future
