I don’t pretend I have everything in Japanese, I keep the japanese stuff by Gunma on my hard disks, I see much less interest in sharing it. I’m just talking about the english-translated stuff

I am getting a message saying that that particular file could only be downloaded 10 times, and that the limit has been reached. Can you reupload it or change the status of the file?
I’m not trying to badmouth Cgrascal, but there *are* some differences in translation of this that I thought were better in SaHa’s version. Not that Cgrascal’s version was bad, but there were a few cases where sentences sounded very awkward, and didn’t “flow” the way that the english language is supposed to. I still appreciate all the effort that Cgrascal put into the translations, because he did do it first, and did a reasonably good job. I did enjoy his version of this, and have so far kept it along with the new version from SaHa.
Also, who are we to complain about how someone else spends their money? SaHa still manages to crank out stuff like mad, so even if he releases translations like this that have already been done, he still releases plenty of new stuff as well.
Anyways, I’m not trying to start an argument, I’m just saying that I can see why someone would want to see a different version of this. Plus, there may be people who never saw Cgrascal’s version, who will now get to enjoy this work of Gunma Kisaragi by getting it from SaHa.
Nor am I, starting an argument is pointless. But, look, 20% of the active scanlators around don’t have two years of experience with japanese language, and everybody tolerates it, save Kentax
In this regard, I’d consider myself more than happy already with Cgrascal’s version, and I’d have wished Saha’s time would have been spent on delivering new stuff instead of already done stuff.
I am grateful that Cgrascal does what he does.
But objectively, Saha’s translation is much better. Cgrascal’s translation is often very awkward. Did Cgrascal do chapter 4 and EX? Because if you tell me you understood everything from these two chapters, then you are a god of reading comprehension (the broken kind).
Thanks Oliver, already picked this up at Sayo’s site though. I’m not sure why this is being done again, but I do like Sayo’s translations better because of smoother idiomatic english and a more erotic and sexual quality to it. It really enhances a work for me. We’ve all read the well meaning japanese speakers translating to english (stilted engrish) or the machinelike computer translations (no life in them), Sayo is just warmer. That said, yes a lot of old stuff is being done again. One very good example of a major being redone for a very good reason is ” Kiyoshi Penalty Gakuen Goku by Koyanagi Royal(Royal Koyanagi – St.Penalty Academy)”, one look at the new scans from the tankoubon convinced me. I do wonder if Sayo can keep up the pace he’s working at?
Is there any way I could get those raws you have on your hard drive. Gunma is my favorite of all the hentai manga artists out there.

OLIVER: There is a big problem with you post of Bind by Zukiki. I can’t get the comments section to work. I type in a comment and hit the “submit” key, and it switches to the bondage poll page, even though I have already voted in that poll. I have tried it 3 or 4 times and it keeps doing it every time. Setebos, I see a very good reason for Saha to be able to continue at this pace : from 1.5 to 2.5 dollars per page. Talent and quality have a price.

I think RS changed around 3-4 months ago.
Now if you want to share a link with the world, you MUST create a free collector’s account, otherwise your file will be subject to ridiculous restrictions.
There’s nothing wrong with creating a collector’s account, mind you, it’s free and there are zero complications. But since RS didn’t communicate much about that, there was an uproar on internet forums just after the transition, you can imagine why
