To that extent, the title of “emo” has been applied to anything and everything, whether it’s ridiculous emotional drivel, or just normal human conflict-and very rarely does it refer to ACTUAL emo activity, aka the music/culture genre.
We must restrict our rampant usage of the term emo much as we have come to slowly restrict our use of Hitler analogies, less the term Emo become as irrelevant as Godwin felt Hitler analogies would become. Who is with me?
