who likes german ? :D

I’m on an Iro-Iro roll :D After I shared, yesterday, the spanish version and the english uncensored version of Iro-Iro 1-8, here is now the german-translated (and uncensored) version of 3 of its chapters. According to my stats, Hentairules welcomes 3500 german-speaking visitors per day, if you’re one of them, I hope you’ll like it :)

How many languages do you intend to post(Hopes for a Russian translation of something, :D).

That being said, I have lived in Canada and the USA since 1999. Living in two English speaking countries for ten years basically means learn English or you are on your own. I only knew like 20 words when I arrived in British Columbia those many years ago.

Some German translated hentai is nice, but I prefer the english ones. Even as a German. German sounds soo horrible x.x
But good job ;)

Another greetings from Berlin.

I agree, it somehow doesn’t feel as hot as it should when reading it in german… when compared to the english texts the dialogue tends to, well, sound somewhat awkward.
Not like when seiyu have german lines in anime, or horribly mutilated german texts in manga, though. ;)

Thanks a lot anyway!

Oh, and greetz from Bavaria! :)

While I didn’t DL this piece, I’ll have to agree with the other germans here, the german language is far too kinky to make good porn. If there ever is going to be some kind of “business language” tho… yeah, german. can’t get much more formally.

Well, either that or japanese. Don’t know any other language with that kind of complexity regarding different levels of formality… just think about the use of honorifics.
Well, in my opinion the problem, if you want to call it that way, is that in german you generally use much more syllables and whole words to phrase something than in english.
Just one example: “I can’t believe you did this” would literally and grammatically correct translate into “Ich kann nicht glauben, dass du das getan hast”.
However, I do believe our german language is quite good when it comes to swearing nastily. ;)
And of course, to show without a doubt who’s the villain in a Hollywood flick… ;)

As a passionate user of language i have made the same observation as my countryman above. While the german language is extremly diverse and you can explain almost every thing into the smallest detail without sounding repetative it is just not souted for passioned talks about sex.

German is a language strongly unfluenced by thinkers and poets (a view years back our country was even still refeared to as the worlds home for such people) but also burocrats, regulation riders and all other sorts of extremly stuffy folks.

Its a language very well suited to scientists and writers, but when it comes to bursting out spontanios comments about gushing sperm and deep pounding penetration it just lacks the nessesary melodic quality.

(Take alone the word “moan” with its melodic sinplicity, and the rough throath-sound “stöhnen” to which it translates. Dirty Talk definetly best suited for the english tounge.)

The translation is bad – by the way.
They changed names into english ones and changed the context of the dialog into a totaly different way…hmph

I’m a native English speaker, but learned German a while ago, so keep posting them – it makes for more interesting reading than I normally get.

Wow, I guess the Germans here STILL haven’t gotten over WWII (inferiority complex or something), although I remember years ago talking with some French girls who also thought English was much sexier sounding than German. And, yes, I have to agree, German is great for swearing and leaves a little to be desired for erotica. Still, it’s an ‘interesting’ way for a non-native speaker to get in some practice. And, at least to my ears, German is the sweetest music compared to Dutch/Flemish, which sounds like an American hillbilly speaking bad German with English vowel sounds.

Sehr schön, sehr schön. 3500 Besucher aus Deutschland beweisen, dass Hentai durchaus auch bei uns seine Fans hat. Deswegen sage ich nur: Hentai rules! :-)

Thx for this nice service!

Standard German (“Hochdeutsch”) is the standard variety of the German language used as a written language, in formal contexts, and for communication between different dialect areas. Since German is a pluricentric language, there are different varieties of Standard German.
Standard German originated not as a traditional dialect of a specific region, but as a written language, developed over a process of several hundred years, in which writers tried to write in a way that was understood in the largest area.

That’s maybe the reason why German is a little bit complicated. As I like to say: “Es ist eine Sprache geschaffen für den Krieg!” :-D

@ Ryoushi: only a few of us didn’t – the rest either take it with stride or don’t want to spoil the fun for those with real complexes… just like people from Montana or New Jersey do, I guess. ;) And for a really eardrum shattering experience, try listening to someone talking eastern german saxon… ;) ;) Just kidding, my fellow hentais from Chemnitz and Zwickau!
Anyway, to clarify my point: I do think english which its generally softer spelling and its more compact structure has its clear advantages in informal settings – which I believe h-mangas mostly belong to but I could be wrong here.
German (and I have to disagree, we DID and DO have quite a number of thinkers and poets) in contrast is a rather hard sounding language, which among other things allows Rammstein to make such fine and tender music.
