If you want more explanation about Touhou than the ultra-insufficient Wikipedia entry, I found this page. I’m searching for a page telling about the birth and growth of the Touhou universe, but so far, I didn’t find somethign satisfying, if you’ve got an hyperlink to share, you’re welcome !

While I’m curious about the picture, I don’t really get the whole Touhou thing. Maybe I got on the scene too late for it, but it seems like a lot of doujins only work if you’re a fan of whatever inspired them… a shoot-em-up, you say? And I hear there’s only one male character amid the scores and scores of female figures in the universe, and he doesn’t come up much? Huh.
the game series started with an arkanoid rip off, for the pc-9801 or something, back in 1996, I think… there is a touhou wiki out there, a large one, its own wiki, in fact…
