I totally agree, Ayle, our kids only have crappy shit to watch nowadays, I REALLY wish they were shown the japanese anime.
Meh, I like some anime nowadays. I stopped downloading and watching the newest fansubbed eps of One Piece, but I think the same guy who did One Piece was responsible for Fairy Tail, which is another series I’m kind of interested in.
Though the mascot character is just a little *too* mascotty. Hmmm… maybe it’s done by the same person who did Rave Master. Has the same-errr-“Dog”

I was indeed talking about anime that ends up in western tvs, not anime on general. There are plenty of good anime with dark and serious themes but what you get on the mainstream channels is always kiddy stuffs, like for example the new transformers on cartoon network… And when you do get mature anime it’s a weird hours and the dubbing is crappy(might have changed… but the dubbing of DBZ and gundam seed turned me off completely from US dubbed animes), I wish that stereotype that cartoons are for kids would just go away…
