Now, THIS is an interesting doujin !

I warn you, this is a REAL adult story, not a fuckfest, with that bitter and sweet touch making the difference between fiction and reality. The moe has faded away.
This doujin is about how the heroines of the popular K-On! anime grow up and what adults they become. Sometimes reality slaps you in the face unless you finally accept to become an adult and adapt the size of your dreams to the real outside world, and maybe, then, you can be happy.

(Damn, why am I honest with my descriptions, nobody’s going to download it ! ^^;;) I found this doujin very interesting, and for this I thank N04h, Phantom Renegade, Neko Arcueid Brunestud, of Trinity Translations Team :)

Whoa. Nice find, Oliver. It’s scary how this might actually happen to the girls in K-ON if all the moe and fiction are stripped away.

Wow that was amazing. A great doujinshi for K-ON! it keeps us reminded that reality exists and moeblob doesnt last forever. I love how real it gets, but am disappointed in mio. I dont think she would fall that far, but there is that chance. Yuis story makes me sad, but with how the media interpreted her "random of subject talk" i can see how she was pushed into that direction. Mugi just went poof, same with azunyan. Ritsu… Ended up as how we all would expect if their band diddnt make it big. More like this oliver, this stuff is incredible quality.

Based on the previous comments, I am almost afraid to read this. I *hate* depressing stories in manga; if I want to be depressed, I'll just watch the news.

Hi i've been a leech and lurker here for a while now and this is my first post. I have to say that was one disturbing shit and i've seen, downloaded and converted terrorist beheadings and executions to put in my psp. The beheadings stay, this doujin is DELETED

heh. i know when oliver says he thinks no one will download something, it usually means it's worth the download in one way or another ;) reverse psychology, eh, oliver?

Wow, so much sadness, tears and depression. Definitely not my cup of tea (and this is big understatement). As Zathael said – if I want to be depressed, I'll just watch the news. So i'll pass this one.

Ok, so curiosity got the better of me, and I downloaded this and started to read it… and deleted it. Not because it freaked me out or scarred me, but because it was (in my opinion) so terribly bad. As in poorly done. As in I read a few pages, said "yuk", and decided the rest wasn't worth reading. When you take characters that everyone knows and loves, and throw away their personality and give them some sort of emo "no one understands me, so I'll just cut everything up with a razor" mindset, it isn't sad, it's just stupid. It didn't make any sort of sense to me at all; you may as well have tried to turn a pokemon manga into a debate about the problems in the middle east.

Maybe I just didn't "get it", but I seriously thought this was so poorly done that I don't know why anyone is getting upset, other than for the time they wasted reading it.

To me I saw it as just giving the characters some taste of the real life. I mean it is true that when you are in high school everything is spoon-fed to you and before you know it, "real life" hits you in the face. I don't think the author was taking anything away from the character, the characters for me just became more 3D.

Besides, it's not like the characters can be moeblob for the rest of their life, they have to look past the fun sooner or later.

Sorry Oliver about ripping on this one, I should have at least thanked you for uploading it. Although I obviously did not care for this one, I do appreciate your attempt to share something new and different.

Exactly, I totally agree. I mean I enjoy the original series but I also found this doujinshi to be quite…mind-blasting.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I just can't appreciate taking these characters from a light, moe-filled comedy and suddenly trying to make them all angsty and filling their lives with drama. It may be more "real" that way to you, but it just doesn't work for me. It is too big of a switch in tone from the original manga and tv show for me to wrap my head around. Maybe if the prequel to this were available, it might help me to "get it", but as it stands now I simply did not care for it. But considering the fact that I enjoy the other 99.99% of stuff you share here, I think having one thing I didn't like is not that big of a deal. :-)

BTW if you have read the prequel or at least looked at the raws, you can tell that this is a series and this volume is just begging to have a sequel. It seems that both books were pretty popular and a lot of people bought it.

I understand Zathael's point. Mio's situation is really blown out of proportion compared to Azusa's or Ritsu's situations. I can't help but think the intent to pull of a "real life version" of the K-on group was superseded by fetishism. Mio, who is generally considered the most "moe" of the characters and the most serious and strong-willed, is reduced to masochist "whore" … for really no reason at all (unlike Yui's situation which uses previous incidents as a basis). If Mio just turned into an office lady, another cog in the machine, with stressed-induced headaches and maybe even add some wrinkles to emphasize that she's no longer a high school girl, it would have went a long way in terms of maintaining the "real life" scenario.

"Sometimes reality slaps you in the face unless you finally accept to become an adult and adapt the size of your dreams to the real outside world, and maybe, then, you can be happy"

it's really good words that i quote it for my post somewhere ^^

My two cents worh: for a hentai manga, this sucks, but only because its hard to fap to since the sex scenes are so short (and the art is too mediocre for me). For a K-On doujin, this is quite a jewel. Like many above said, this is a very realistic, non-idealized perspective that the original lacks almost completely. Worth the read, just dont treat it as hentai. the sex is there to add credibility and draw audience, not the focus. That said, i too believe mio's development is a little extreme, but then this is fiction afterall.
