The iPad is basically a bigger iPod Touch. Check out the iPad teardown pictures and you'll see that its motherboard is quite small. It's derived from the iPod Touch with some "improvements"

if you talk about the video conversion, I used Ultra Mobile 3GP Video Converter for the 3Gp and MP4 versions, and Super for the DPG versions.
If you talk about the video in itself, no idea ^^
There is also a program called any video converter. The free one is good too. It can convert most files into an assortment of formats.

If the video is configured for an iPhone/iTouch, it will generally only look normal on an iPad if shown at the smaller screen size (like super-letterbox). If shown at full-screen, it will likely look blurry, like a small photo that is magnified too much. They are having this problem with a lot of iPhone Apps being used on an iPad, and the App makers are having to rewrite them to accommodate the much larger screen.
As a side note, I wish the full file wasn’t in RMVB, that’s about the only encoding that VLC has problems with, and I don’t want the intrusiveness of the Real player.

I uh…hate to be a downer and all, but I can't actually get this thing to play even when I use Real Player, or even the beta Real Player SP (both of which are updated). VLC doesn't play it either, is there a difference cause I'm using a mac or am I missing something here?
Pilotace, have you considered the possibility your download had a glitch and your file could be corrupted ? Otherwise, I don't know what else to say…

At this point, Madlion, I think it's not a problem with the download process, but it's more likely that your computer is missing something required to play the vids.

Hey Oliver The Admin. What player do you use to play this? I cant play this video even after downloading it probably without glitch or problems.
It worked with two combos :
– VLC alone (linux, windows)
– MediaPlayer Home Cinema + CCCP Codec Pack (windows)

Why .rmvb? It might only be me, but I don't actually know all that many people who have RealPlayer. Why not a more common format? Was it in this format when you got it?
Obviously, Solarn, why would I recompress it myselt to rmvb before shraing, honeslty ?
Recompressing means "losing data and quality", so I share the original version as I found it, and it's up to you to recompress it yourselves if you don't manage to play it as is.
I am putting in that I really liked Omega when I saw it first. Unfortunately it did not have about the last 15 minutes of it. I really hope this one is the full vid.
To everyone who can't play *.rmvb files – install Real Media Alternative (Free real media codec). CCCP alone is not enough, or so I've experienced.
