I'm not saying because creating a redirection page takes a lot of time to do :p
Maybe you could try using tags for artists and categories. It may take a while but it will be easier in the long run since you won't have to keep adding stories to redirection pages. It would also be helpful for visitors who are just looking for particular genres, etc.
I think Tosh's Menkui is one of the most awesome tankoubon of the 2010 until now: we're really lucky that YQII work on this.

Why censoring the testicles? Maybe is something about the laws. You know, Japan has lots of laws very strange or with an imprecise interpretation.
Did you know there is a law in Japan which says a husband is in his right to force his wife to have sex with him and he can't be accused of rape?

If I’m not mistaken, it has to do with the female genitals actually… See, the tip of the penis has a hole, as does the female vagina. Both get censored because of this. As for the testicles, the center looks a bit like a closed slit quite often, depending on the artist.
