Effing chapter six. So much cuteness and love so far in the collection, then BAM! Pretty bride gangraped on her wedding day by dozens of ugly, sadistic men for a whole chapter, leaving her in a broken, miserable, semen-covered, weeping heap with the promise of it happening time after depressing time in the future. She never once enjoyed it, and while that might not matter to me in terms of making it better, it detracts from the only bits I know you might like. Daggome it. The art wasn't even as good as the rest of the book's. Did he even draw it?
I don't understand who the **** could get their rocks off to that.
The rest of the book was great but just… Eff chapter six.
The only thing I can think of is that Shimeta Yarii did that chapter as sort of an experiment. After all the other nice stuff he has done, maybe he wanted to try a rage-filled rape story just once, kinda like how some actors who normally play a good guy in movies will make one movie where they are the villain. I am just hoping that he got it out of his system and never does it again.
As for this chapter, I thought it was pretty good. The girl was all tomboyish and such on the outside, but got rather cute and "girly" when he finally confessed and they started making love. Not quite tsundere, but close. I also like the humor that Shimeta Yarii puts into the stories. One funny moment that stands out to me was the part where the devil on the guy's shoulder was talking to him, and he completely ignored it. The devil actually got quite upset. :-)
