I don't hate mind break, it just gets really old, really fast. Therefore this manga was kind of… well, boring. It's always the same shit. Like many people I also find this story underwhelming. While the art is as gorgeous as before, the scenario is lame. I like Da Hootch's works because they bring out the raw excitement of hardcore sex, but this one not only lacks that excitement but also the humor and passion in Sarashi Ai. I can only hope that the ending of Becoming a Girl 2 means Shindo will either go back to his old self or become completely Da Hootch in part 3.
Please, Shindo, either goes to the extreme or stays with happy sex. This one is too tame to cause rage and too heavy to be enjoyable.
I agree that this one seemed to be searching for some "middle ground" between ShindoL and DA HOOTCH, and it ended up being kind of "meh" for me. The artwork was awesome as always, but the story was just kind of wishy-washy. Not good enough to make me love it, but not bad enough to make me hate it. I'll probably keep this one, but I am hopeful that the next ShindoL story is better.
