Mhmm, the first one wasn't my cup of tea either. I dug the second one a lot.
Sometimes I find myself counting fingers aswell, Oliver. Especially toes.

Didn't care for chapter 1,loved chapter 2 .Chapter 7 50/50 would been cool if he wasn't fucking friend mom,he seem cool but a douche to me.

Don't ask where I found them but i think i already have even chapter 5 and 6 of this one…
Just to show that we're not out to invade other people's projects (again), one of the reasons why we went through with a re-translation of chapter 1 was because we plan on doing the entire tank from start to finish. Our own version of ch.1 isn't a statement to say "we've got a bigger e-penis" or what not – and I know it may seem this way because we kinda parasitized phantom of MxS before… but that aside, this is totally different.
So does this mean we'll be doing a re-translation of chapter 7? Yes, we will. Again, it's not to fill up our e-penis egos or anything. We just want to do the whole tank, so that's that.
As for the quality of the levels, I have to apologize for that. I've explained again and again back in our blog why it's like that, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it, now that it's out.
Sorry about the e-penis line, Ed, when I read it again, it sounds aggressive and pointless.
In my case, on top of all, I see a form of waste, when two talented persons do their version of the same work, in the end, both of them won't be getting as much credits as if they each did something different and, worst, 99% of the community won't give a fuck about what version is made by who, and will take one of the two indifferently. That will be a lot of work going to waste, spent for close to zero gratitude, spent for a smaller number of persons enjoying it.
Seeing as you guys are working for free for everything, it saddens me, and the waste angers me. Not anger against you, against the concept of waste itself, I don't know if it doesnt' sound too obscure to write it like that…

Well… One good reason I can think of is consistency. I'm one of those guys that sticks to subs done by one group over another – even if the said "other" group releases ahead of the one I stick to. It's not really a matter of preference of one group over the other; rather I just want the subs to be consistent.
Similarly, I think people deserve some level of consistency in releases in THIS particular tank, especially since the girl in the first chapter will reappear in the third chapter. And when I say consistency, I usually refer to consistencies in speech and mannerisms of speech – but other people may go so far as consistencies in editing, translation of SFX, inclusion of T/L notes for extended reference, etc.
Lastly, it'd be much easier to package the final tank into the translation group's archive as a complete tank, instead of one with missing chapters (or having to direct other people to places where they can download those other chapters).
Well, that's just my two cents worth about it. Plain consistency.
