How well do you remember the previous Velvet Kiss volume ? This is a very unusual tale, neither usual in the hentai world or in the manga world, it feels Harumi Chihiro found the best spot to tell an original story, the ecchi niche, softcore hentai. I’m not trying to say it’s impossible to fap to this (experience has been teaching me people can fap to anything |
), I’m trying to say the scenario in itself makes the manga worth reading Fast summary : the male hero, the average good-willing salaryman, is pushed into being the sexual valet of a rich girl, a cold-looking doll, apparently insensitive to feelings, with undecipherable facial expressions. Of course it’s not as simple as that, but heck, I would hate to unwind the whole story to you, it’s best to read it ! The heroine is REALLY cute in the “doll” way, the drawing of her various clothes and outfits received lots of care and attention. As for sex, how to say it, somehow, the manga partly revolves around the idea that carefree sex without feelings or a deeper connexion is not enough to feel “fulfilment”…

Good and sad news in the same time, I’m removing the download links for Velvet Kiss volumes 1 and 2.
The reason : they were licenced, for distribution, by Digital Manga, Inc, and Soba Scans asked that I removed the links, something I can agree to without any problem
Hopefully, some day, they’ll reach the western market

I actually find that a lot of ecchi/softcore manga can in fact be *more* fapworthy than some hardcore stuff, simply because of how much attention is paid to the story, characters, relationships, etc. I'd rather have this than a hardcore "McHentai" book any day.

Is iit the end of the story or do a third volume is somewhere?
I ask because i not reading anything until is complete.
Soba Scans says that a volume 3 will be released in Japan sometime in September. They will purchase, scan, and translate it ASAP after it is released. Since it is an ongoing series, there is no way of knowing if volume 3 will be the last. There could be a volume 4, 5, 6, etc, all depending on how popular it is.
