EDIT : poll closed.
THANK YOU TO ALL VOTERS for the feedback, and also, great thanks are for Moochew, who posted a fix to that problem ! I’ll post a new poll to make sure it’s okay for everyone, now ;)

The poll’s content was :

I’m asking just in case I’m missing a BIG problem, could you, please, tell me if the “Random Post” link is working for you ?

I’ve had reports that it doesn’t work, just a few reports, but span across a large time.
From what I could understand, the persons for whom it doesn’t work are victim of a headers problem (meaning : don’t blame me, blame something along the tubes between my web host and their ISP). But if I’m mistaken and many more people have that problem, then I must know about it :)

Does the "Random post" link work for you ?

  • Yes (38%, 433 Votes)
  • No (62%, 709 Votes)

i weas one of those whom reported the problem, so of course i'm going to click no, but oliver is great, he listened to my response and suggested ways that may fix the problem, the attempts where not successful, but unlike other sitemasters, he was willing to hear the complaint, and responded personally to the issue, thanks dude, A+ for effort

Forgot to mention, in case it helps:

OS: Mac OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
Browser: FireFox 7.0.1 (latest version)
Notable extensions: Adblock Plus, but disabling it doesn't fix it
Plugins (Flash, Java) are up to date.

It worked the very first time I clicked on it. Every time after that (in any browser) it goes to the main page. I've tried both IE9 and FF7 on two different machines.
I also tried a couple of web proxies (hidemyass & kproxy) and they have the same issue.

However, if you add "=" to the end of the url it works fine (for me at least) http://www.hentairules.net/?random=

Maybe a proxy server or something along the route is misinterpreting the url as having an invalid query string or something and ignoring it?

Here it didn't work on the first time, but the = fix does make it work. Seems like a fine bypass.

Windows7, Chrome, it works for me, never used it much, but it generally takes me to something else than what is (randomly) displayed on the page)

Italian Windows XP Professional SP3, updated to actual version out
All of my browser (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, all updated to latest version distributed) do not work with the "?random" link, as it just redirects me to the home page. Though, Moochew's link works, the one with the "?random= ", in any browser.

Strange, could have swore I already used it for fun some time ago, and it worked as a charm.

The link in the top bar doesn't work for me. The "Random share =)" link in the right bar does.

Sorry for Double Posting, But Voltain found a fix, It is simply because the link is incomplete :)

Replace your Link http://www.hentairules.net/?random
To http://www.hentairules.net/?random=

And Oliver, Great site, and keep up your awesome work :P

Win2k, Opera or IE6 goes to home (also note your pop up warning is mostly off the top left of the screen so only the Exit button is visible when using IE6, but I doubt this configuration is much of a concern)
Vista, IE9 or Opera both go to home page as well

Adding the = at the end of the URL works as suggested above for the couple of variants above I tried, or you can give it any value I think (random=false works for example).

I use Firefox latest update – whatever that is, and the links always work for me. I just tried a few to test, and random links on each random link page all work.

Firefox 8.0 seems to work alright but sometime doesn't show a picture – which isn't that bad for experianced hentai leechers on your page Oliver! :) but why do you put it there between the ads and not to the toplines? I'd like to know.
