Graphically, this is good, very good, the heroine has really cute, delicate and/or intense facial expressions, shy, passionate, beautiful, I’d have wanted to caress her cheeks a good number of times.
Something that made Charlotte cuter than of usual with a hentai doujin, I think, is the fact that she was more “realistically imperfect” than your average hentai girl. A bit plump, with breasts sometimes looking weird, just like a real girl could be ! And I loved it like that

Why is it that quite possibly 80-85% of the Infinite Stratos doujin feature Charlotte?
I mean it's not like she ain't hot, which she clearly is, but there are like 6-8 other hot chicks in it who deserve a good boning just as much.
That's because Charlotte has the qualities associated as the Yamato Nadeshiko type.
And because she's a blonde. The Japanese dig the western type girls as much as we westerners dig azn type girls

One of the blogs once analysed her personality based on the show and it shows her to be slightly better than the other girls personality-wise. She's not like the typical harem girl.
Heck, I first read about her in H-doujins, but when I saw the actual show, she's really more awesome than I thought.
That too. Her role a lot of the time was a good friend of the main character instead of fawning over him, which is a pretty good description of the other 3-4. In terms of quantity, seems like there's definitely a significantly more charlotte doujin out there than the others though.
I place a good bet it's because she usually cross dress as a guy. One of those hot-female-body-hidden-in-boy-costume. One of the interests of the Japanese mangaka.
Another possibility is that Charlotte just might break the cycle of "the male lead ending up with the "tsundere" girl – seeing that, apart from Charlotte and Laura, the other three "main haremettes" are either predominantly tsundere (Houki, Cecilia), or borderline (if not complete) yandere (Rin).
