Being a beginner in Japanese, I'd assume "netoru" is the verb, and netorare is the nown. Verbs all end in "u" where they are ru- or u- type. This is all just speculation as I don't think my kanji flashcards will cover such subjects.
So I guess the theme is jingoism? Foreign men will come and take your women? Will there ever be a manga where a foreign guy gets with a Japanese girl and it isn't rape, NTR, etc.? Tons and tons have a foreign girl with a Japanese guy(Just about every show has a foreign girl in it).
No, probably not. It's a pretty common taboo about cross-cultural sex — it's okay for men to get some outside the culture, but women doing so is strictly forbidden.
i believe "netoru" is just a typographical error when typing "netori" since letters i and u in keyboard are very close to each other, which happens casually to those people who type very fast.
Mm, yeah, this will serve as a reminder to check my facts next time ;P
Thanks!
To make up (not really), here's a rough translation from http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/寝取られ. Do forgive any grammatical mistakes:
"Netorare" is a term derived in passive form from the verb "netoru" in Japanese dictionary. In sexual terminology, it is a situation where one's beloved comes to a sexual relationship with another person; a preference of getting sexual arousal from such situation; a genre of fiction that is aimed toward people with such preferences.
Quick reaction, time is running short and I should resume work, netorare, despite being a passive form, has evolved into a quite specific meaning, maybe especially in hentai. I stand very strongly to my words, netorare implies BOTH cheating upon AND inflicting huge moral pain to the cuckhold because of this.
I think cheating has this “doing something deliberately” feel to it,while ntr could also begin from blackmail, rape, or whatever creativeauthors could come up with.Admittedly, it's very hard to imagine an interesting ntr story thatdoesn't involve “moral pain”, but in my opinion, “moral pain” is notwhat defines the theme. Ntr is about stealing someone's lover which isthe exact meaning of the word “netoru”.
Not theme, genre. On 3/26/12, amaimono wrote:> I think cheating has this “doing something deliberately” feel to it,> while ntr could also begin from blackmail, rape, or whatever creative> authors could come up with.>> Admittedly, it's very hard to imagine an interesting ntr story that> doesn't involve “moral pain”, but in my opinion, “moral pain” is not> what defines the theme. A number of NTR scenarios that involve "moral pain" also involve "mind-break", where the unfortunate victim (usually female) is degenerated into a mindless sex slave begging for more carnal pleasure. Sanbun Kyouden and Nagare Ippon come to mind.
This one obviously doesn't fall into that category. It's quite humorous and light-hearted too.
As for those expressing surprise at Coelacanth making a story like this, take note that fellow vanilla-deity Homunculus has "Bathtub Crisis" and "Fitting Crisis" which involve cheating, no matter how diabetes-inducing they might be. Same with Napata's "Introvert Little Sister".
Yes I agree, though as part of a mainstream point of view, I'd say the age difference and the fact that the little boy isn't related in any way in terms of blood or lover's family would be what would stand out to me as being concerned at most in terms of suprise at what the artist has offered.
As with the vanilla gods stories which also involve what you'd say cheating, there isn't NTR and as vanilla gods, the readers are use to their genre of stories. this is my opinion, the vanilla gods cheating chapters as you have given example are quite popular and end with no "moral pain'', the male character is still together and hinted to still be in love with the original lover.
In this story of "Bad Communication", i'd say its kind of half hearted not knowing if the woman still loves her husband while knowing she let her lust out. But hey, trying to get us to respond to the story is what coelacanth wants us to do, we put our emotions into it and try to relate to it or view it as some form of reality……that took a while to type
Yes…..its right that NaPaTa and Homunculus have created cheating manga among their vanilla creation. But in the case of Homunculus, which is Bathtub and Fitting Room Crisis, our male character, Junpei doesn't really want to have sex with his girlfriend sister. On top of that, his girlfriend already know about it too
Man, I can't believe Coelacanth made something like this.
I know, right…
Even if we ignore the whole cheating thing for now, it's painfully obvious that the build-up is /severely/ lacking. No young boy would be bold enough to just grope a grown woman like that. Sadly, it feels much more like brainless porn than an actual story.
It could have been excellent if it was double-length… dunno.
PS: "Netoru" is a verb, active voice. "To steal someone's lover". Netorare is the same verb, passive voice: "to have one's lover stolen". "Netori" is a noun, "the action of stealing someone else's lover".
so umm is this NTR in any sense of the word, i mean she does sleep with someone other than her husband but it was kind of concented or she didnt mind THOUGH she didnt cheat on her husband, she still loves them,
IMHO i wouldn NOT say its truly NTR but a one shot with someone close-related or a close-friend; i mean, its not like the boy was a ugly old pedofie rapist kinda guy you know. But i would of like it to have a little more vanilla to it, the end seemed kind of blank minded :
I liked it
I normally dont like netorare or any kind of it (but i still read it lol), but this is more of a happy sex curiousity thing. No love betrayal, just sex.
thanks for sharing it, Oliver
