Are we talking about the same scans ? the ones i found are higher res (x2478), the printing tones are much sharper, more page surface is kept, and censorship is unchanged.
Add to that the extra pages/cover/couple old stories added to the tank for padding purposes, and I fail to see the problem.
They're balanced a fair bit lighter than your usual tastes, but that's pretty much all I can see that would piss you off.
Can you point out where you see dirt and more blur than the inital scans ?
If i did, i don't remember. I have already blended in, all of the available translated tales, of Peace Hame – First volume. Into a complete, English translated volume. Barring pages 093-098. Which are yet, untranslated.

OK, I'm not real crazy with how Shiwasu No Okina treats the girls in his work here… but I can't help it- I am so attuned to his artwork! He is one of my top three artists. The facial expressions, the anatomical curves are so beautiful, are so perfect, that I'll just have to live with his fascination with hentai rape in this one.

I don't know why, but Pisu Hame just doesn't do it for me. Makes me kinda sad, actually, because I can see that I am missing out on something great.

I just scanned ahead in the Japanese version & man, I am not looking forward to the latter half of chapter 8 when it's finally translated. That looks painful. >_<
