So, I’ve never actually watch Evangelion before. This is also the first time I ever read a Evangelion doujinshi. So pardon me if I get something wrong since I’m not familiar with the characters or how they behave. |

Some people were complaining about not being able to view these using CDisplay, there seems to be some sort of broken header on the files but apparently Quivi can open them just fine! So get that instead as it’s apparently way better!
if you havnt watched evangelion before it's one of the original brainfuck rage-inducing series that totally screws with you. You want to get attached to the characters but some much screwed up stuff happens that at the end you are like WTF happened, and then go watch something else to clear your mind. great series, just be prepared for it lol
btw they recently remade it in the form of some movies, I suggest checking those out for the modern day animation, but the old series is still good

Hrm… for some reason my CDisplay doesn't like these image files… I don't know why.
Try something else? They work fine on the Internet and open in the default Windows program.
Some of the files downloaded (within the last week or so) use the png extention even though they are actually jpeg. If you rename the file from .png to .jpg , they may work for you. (have to do this myself actually)
The header is probably broken then. Use something that can accept broken headers (such as IrfanView, Microsoft Photo Viewer or MS Paint).

If it were a borken header it wouldn’t open period. It depends on the program deciding how to interpret the file. Some may decide to accept the extension, while others may ignore the extension and decide by the file itself. They are valid jpegs, but I’m not sure why they’re named .png
As far as I know, it would. Just not in some programs. Like Photoshop and apparently CDisplay. The ones I mentioned can ignore broken headers.
If you have Photoshop, try opening it. It'll report an error message. Then try opening the same file in Paint and it'll work perfectly. You don't even have to rename the file extension.
I actually would have said that Evangelion was one of the best animes of all time… if not for the ending. It’s character development is one of the best I’ve ever seen and started pretty much %90 of the clichés we see nowadays. Even some of the concepts behind the mechs and the ways they come up with defeating the angels is down right awesome.
Again though the ending may be up for debate or even given some BS line about it being an artistic take… it comes down to the show creator had no idea what to do with the characters or stories. Even he admitted it in earlier interviews way back in the day. People have just run off with it and tried to make it more then it is.
So yeah… a lot of amazing plotlines that make you say “wow I can’t wait to see what this all means!” leaves you hanging with zero answers.
Saigado\’s comics are the best! I\’ve come so, so hard from his Evangelion doujinshi. I have an armpit fetish, so it\’s hard to come by comics that feature them, but Saigado, oh my god. Top rate! I\’d give him however many stars out of however many, because I\’m an abso-fucking-lutely satisfied customer.
