At last, in that universe full of girls barely of age or too young, with the most juicy and appetizing one not getting much screentime at all (I mean : Lala), a mature big-breasted blonde one joins the frey. The differences between the tankoubon scans (on which Anti-Aging Anon worked) and the magazine scans (on which CXC Scans worked), for To Love Ru Darkness at least, are simple as day : better resolution (usually 1200 px versus 1600 px), artistic bonus pages, better image quality, sometimes even less censorship, and sometimes slightly changed details.

damnit Oliver, whenever I see a post like this I keep thinking it's an actual H doujin. The series is good and all but it's more like a lap dance, as opposed to actual sex.

Can't think of a better place to ask this so here it is; Have official publishers (Shonen Jump, VIZ and the like) ever worked with scanlators to speed up publishing of manga in English? because i've noticed that some of my favs are not only licensed in the U.S. but are being released a whole lot faster than they used to. Example is Blue Exorcist which only up to volume 9 in Japan and volume 8 will be out in the U.S. in a couple of weeks which is like light speed compared to how it used to take months for new volumes.
Digital Manga does that. Soba-scans mentions it on their website that they're helping Project-H (a subsidiary of Digital Manga) do Velvet Kiss.
This is a typical case of win-win agreements, incidentally

If they were to give up on scanlating for such a motive, they'd have quit anytime anyway on the first opportunity, whatever the reason of the moment, you know :|
