With more ecchi and less censorship than in any other non-adult manga, making it the most arousing manga sold in an “all audiences” publication ever, here is the 5th tankoubon volume of To Love Ru Darkness The differences between the tankoubon scans (on which Anti-Aging Anon worked) and the magazine scans (on which CXC Scans worked), for To Love Ru Darkness at least, are simple as day : better resolution (usually 1200 px versus 1600 px), artistic bonus pages, better image quality, sometimes even less censorship, and sometimes slightly changed details. Oh, and, as I did in the volume 4, when I think it’s a value added, I’ll sometimes add a bonus pic or two ^^ |
Credits are for CXC Scans for the translation (done by Cmertb, thank you SO much for the job done you by and your team !), with the edit done by Anti-Aging Anon (it was a lot of work, guys, don’t think it was easy), and the quality checking by me. Enjoy !
(Oh, and I also added a repack of the volumes 1-5 together, 1080 whopping pictures, it sure piles up fast O_o)

how Yuuki manages to NOT have sex with them is still a myth to me. I mean, obviously many hentai-protagonists are rather quick in switching from normal into rape-mode but Yuuki… its more likely that he literally stumbles/falles into one of them than doing it on purpose.

Oliver, can you give a status update on volume 6? After reading about the changes between types of scans [edits, details changed] in your posts, I don't really trust any other manga sources.

Fun thing is, I got a mail from Anti Aging Anon about it recently. The volume 6, tank, is already out.
But the scans, the image quality, are NOT as good as the magazine version. This is puzzling O_o
very puzzling… wonder what happened. Or maybe someone messed up the scans. Hopefully better scans come out soon ;-;
You should probably keep in mind that most scanners aren't scanlators. They're just pirates putting it on the Internet for other people who can read Japanese. As long as the Japanese is barely legible, they don't care about the quality of the images. That causes pain and misery to us scanlators ;~;
I can imagine, from things i've heard you would be better off living in japan and buying a copy to take apart and scan using decent hardware and software yourself than to wait for someone who knows what they are doing to get it right…
Or import. Which is what we usually end up doing.

Oliver, has he gotten any new scans yet? Some guy was offering to pay Evil Virgin tanks so THMMY could finally continue the scanlation, and you get free shipping if you spend $39… But the total isn’t $39 with just Evil Virgin, so…
(Of course, this assumes I’m the one buying it. If it turns out to be Kusojijii and he isn’t willing to do the scans of that, then this is all for naught.)
