The pictures, with their 2400++ px height, bothered me, reading was uncomfortable on my monitor, so I made a “normal res” version, with the images only 1600 pixels high.

I concur. Reediting when using a broken translation as basis would be a bad idea, your time would have been wasted.
Actually I started one last night. It seems they had the right overall idea but extremely poor wording. If I wasn't busy with reorganizing a server for work and about to start a few other projects I'd make time for this (having an intermediate grasp of Japanese kinda helps in this case too).
For example… wtf is up with saying Toudai? It isn't remotely spelled like that in Japanese and in a translation, even keeping up with honorifics, it would be easier to say Tokyo U for a wider audience. Also with the way every sentence is treated like "See Jane Run" "I go to the grocery" "My cum is splattered all over her labia minora." Urgh so clunky…
You say that, but then you realize every other translator in existence has claimed not a single sentence CGR has "translated" has ever been accurate.
