Like Oliver said, I’m taking over again for a week or so~ I’ve got other stuff I need to take care of too, so I might not actually post something every day. wonder if I could get some help here. I have an external hard drive where I keep my archive of H material and it stopped working about a week ago, havn't been able to get it to work myself. I'm pretty sure a good tech person could fix it but I don't want to leave it with someone I don't know considering the material on it. Could anyone recommend a reliable person/group that could help me out and who wouldn't care about the material on it?
There are plenty of (free) tools to help recover data from hard drives. The probability of any of them working is slim to none, however. That’s why you should always make backups. If it helps, I wholeheartedly recommend HDD Regenerator. It got me into mine long enough to get my data off it the one time I needed to actually do that. (It’s part of “Hiren’s Boot DVD 15.2 Restored Edition 1.0”, if you want it/need it.)
Protip: Take the hard drive out of the external enclosure, and install it directly into your computer. This may increase the likelihood of accessing it. Additionally, you’ll need another HDD to copy the stuff over too.
Story was cute, but I'm not huge on the art. Kinda feels… 'lanky'. Like they're disproportionately long.
