Actually, I probably should: This is an adaption, so they actually changed quite a few things. And for the better, IMO. They used Tsun Devil and Sisters Ring this episode, and actually CONNECTED THEM to each other. That’s something the tank didn’t even do! Also, they made Sisters Ring hilarious. I was laughing the whole time. The first one wasn’t even as good as that.

There hasn't been a reason to use codec packs in many many years and more often than not they cause issues with peoples systems.

I recently switched to Daum Player. Same as VLC, all built-in without additional installation, but when I quick browse though WMVs (my pr0n) there isn't the frequent one or two seconds during which the video is blurred and shitty before the player fixes itself.
Sadly, the Daum Player requires heavy reconfiguration to work flawlessly on a windows7 environment, so I can't recommend it to everyone.

I have never, once, ever … since VLC came out had a file I couldn't watch with it.
I've seen all the h-anime for years, always watch them with VLC … no issues.
When you tell people to install Codec packs you are opening them up to the risk of conflicts on their systems.
If you really REALLY do find something that VLC can't play (like I said, in over 10 years I've never found anything I couldnt open with it) then try this:

It's just like VLC, but can work slightly better for some files.
Between those two – you will never, ever, EVER need a codec pack and will never EVER have a codec conflict on your system.
How about you go try it yourself and prove it works? I was able to confirm myself it didn't work.
Keep in mind you have to use the one uploaded HERE, not some other website. Also, you have to uninstall VLC and get the one that was out when that was originally posted. It could be fixed by now, it's been a year.
I still have quite a few porn movies that don't work on VLC, too, but that's besides the point. Oh, wait, no it isn't.

for those who want to play these, i highly recommend you install the K-lite pack and choose the "Mega" option since it has everything there and you don't need to do anything.

You need literally 4 things to make most (all?) videos work. K-lite has like 40 things in it.

You need to be on Japanese Unicode or you can't see Japanese characters in file names or anything. Doesn't really matter. I'm fairly certain you do, as you play eroges, visual novels and whatnot.
Information like title and shit were changed to English by me, so that's why you can see them.
