The first chapter of this manga really thrilled me, and yet, surprisingly, the rest of the manga left a much different aftertaste. Not specifically bad, an adult, bittersweet taste. “Adult”, because we witnessed girls fighting against the adult world even though their only weapons are their face and bodies, this is an unfair fight and yet they show persistance in seeking happiness. Bittersweet, because it’s a mix of good and bad, of failure and success, ideal men are like all ideals : they don’t exist, with the painful lesson that we’ve got to be satisfied with the little we achieve. Fuck this, I’m writing a depressing wall of text. |
Black Gals shows plenty of good stuff already. The good parts are a festival of good dialogues, the drawings are surprisingly good, hot as fuck by principle and by definition (ganguro funny gals, with weird manners and adorable dark skin ? YAHAA !), and surprisingly shy when it came to the actual sex scenes.

weird dunno why but i feel like this type of manga could be used as practical material to give to a girl going on the wrong path a visual lesson or something..
