What the heck is Dorohedoro ?!? Reading wikipedia only got me more confused than before. I guess this is Batoto time Oh well. This volume has a sequel called Ma No Midara, it’s still in Japanese (I uploaded a copy of it : zip mirror 1 – 2 – 3 – 4). I’ll quote JBRandom : «if by chance someone would be willing to translate it, I on my side promise to jump in with my decensoring attempt right away =)» …

I friggin love Dorohedoro. Everyone who enjoys some bizzare story is at the right place with this one.
I'm *trying* to read it, but… seriously, dafuq. It starts on chapter 1 as if it was the 50th volume of a popular series in which the artist doesn't need to explain anything anymore O_o
Well, it all got pretty understandable for me pretty soon. There are two worlds (actually three, but for now we only need two): a world where ordinary people leave (called the Hole) and a world where magic users live. Both ordinary people and magic users look the same physically from the outside, yet they are actually different species with different biology if you look on their internal organs. Both words pretty much have anarchy as a political system, there is no single leader or leading organisation in the Hole any more, while in the magic user's world there is a really strong mage who runs his business with his family as a mafia boss. Imagine Don Corleone in a city with no police. Weak, good for nothing mages need some training to become better, so from time to time they visit the Hole to perform tests on random people, magical powers are all different (from deadly to silly to rarely helpful), of cause people don't appreciate being Guenna pigs, so mages are mostly hated in the Hole, also the Hole is full of mages' victims with all kinds of weird effects on them. Kaiman is one of those victims, also with a memory loss. The easiest way to dispel magic is to kill a mage who is responsible for the spell, so Kaiman hunts wandering mages in the Hole hoping to run into the one who screwed up his head one day.
You need to read a while to get a grasp of the story(and even then it'll leave you different types of confused xD), the writer doesn't just hand it to you on a silver platter like in normal mangas xD It slowly comes together
As the other guys told you, it really is a great manga, with a very unique art style, and when you get into explanations of things it's very realistic and reasonable.
the artist created a very interesting universe with very unique characters to live in it, even the villians are very funny and interesting with their own agendas regardless of what the main characters are doing
