I don't understand the fact of falling in love with someone who only wants to bang you, knowing that once you stop having any physical value you'll get dumped, but I guess that's how relationships work (she also states that she enjoyed sex for the first time with her lover and NOT with her husband, which is very sad, seeing that they were high school sweethearts).
I also agree on the fact that his boss probably would treat any employee's wife/partner or female employee in the same way.
