Would you be interested in helping me, and updating dead .zip links on Hentairules ?
As time passes, as file hosts shut down, as people report files to file hosts (like, apparently, the butthut asian fans of Asuna and Lucy, it seems they detest the idea that filthy gaijins fap to their beloved heroines ^^ ), it’s natural, there are more and more dead links.
I may fix a few links, but let’s be honest, as I have far less spare time than in the past, I just can’t, personally, fix all those dead links. If that must be done, I need help with that.
And so, yeah, I’m hiring 
We fixed tons of zip links like that, 5 & 3 years ago, let’s go on a new fixing spree 
Here’s how it would work :
– I’ll teach you how to, simply and quickly, get new zip links
– I’ll teach you how to easily update the posts with those zip links
– I’ll assign you precise time periods (ideally one month, to give you an idea : fixing a whole month’s of posts could take a newbie 8 to 10 hours, with experience it’s 4 times faster ^^) and you’d fix the links in the posts belonging to these periods, at your own rhythm.
That’s maximum freedom to you (it’s not that long, and no huge pressure from me) and it comes with bonuses for you, although I’ll still keep an eye on the changes just in case you accidentally screw-up ^^ And, no panic, the blog can restore past versions when there’s a problem.

It seems several scanlators and fansubs all had computers die on them at the same time
Btw, if anyone who decides to do this needs help with it, hop on the IRC and I can give you some guidance.

Well, you had an issue with your new computer, your old one was still functional :V
"Functional" but you saw how my screen looked, right? Would have doubts calling it functional when you can't use apps in full screen mode or your screen gets burned in artifacts after few minutes.

You say that you are hiring people, so the question that comes to my mind is will they be volunteers that work for free, or will there be pay for every so much work done?

You get paid with your download links if you use an affiliate site like Depositfiles, Uploaded, oboom, etc. It's not as much as it was when I did it three years ago, but it's still good if you aren't an American. (Wupload best site. Bought me my PS3 wwwwwwwwwwwwww.)
Tho most sites now offer premium in exchange for money or points, so you'll get that atleast.
We get this stuff for free so maintaining is an honour! Oliver if it isn't too tricky and my African internet won't be a HUGE hindrance I'd love to help!
Heck I'm down for helping out Oliver, always been a fan of your site for years, so reviving dead links so others can enjoy the pleasure of your great share is truly an honor as sasshi said. got plenty of time to kill so i can fix them once i know what to do.
